It was a total pleasure to jump in the list with everyone this weekend - we love a good exhibition event, and this was a damn good exhibition event.

Longsword, long capes and long, tall glasses of mead. What a way to start September.

Really grateful for the opportunity to work with Birmingham Medieval Combat , East Anglia Armoured Combat and Medieval Fight Club Knyaz UK🇬🇧 to put on a show at Fantasy Forest yesterday. Exhibition duelling and profighting are our favourite things to do - and taking time out in the sun to do it made Saturday even better.

Bucklebury B**r Festival 2026

We came, we fought, we laughed… we got really really wet in the rain ☔️

Exhibition events like this are a great opportunity to get to know the community a little better after training in the hall for four months.

We met a lot of people on Saturday who braved the weather and we hope to see some of you on this page and at training when we’re back in September!

Tournament of the Mace and Seal - Athenry 2026

Our first run-out as a team, with 3 competitors across the four duelling disciplines - Ed for Longsword, Jack for Sword & Buckler and Glenn for Longsword, S&S and S&B.

We’re proud of our gents and the results they got:
Ed: Longsword🥉
Glenn: S&B 🥉

Jack also produced a strong showing in his S&B group.

Onto the next, and growth in our club in the next quarter
🦑

With thanks to the Marshal team, 1316 Medieval Fight Club and the beautiful town of Athenry
