Here is our friendlies booked in for September

31/08/2026

Apologies for the delayed write up.

We took on a late fixture against a very good South Reading side and despite the scoreline we played quite well in spells and also had some chances to score a few more goals, hitting the cross bar twice and missed 2 golden chances with headers.
We went in at half time 2-0 down came out and conceded a silly soft goal but managed to pull 1 back with Jamie Eaton there doing what he does best. We then conceded 2 more soft goals before they got another 1 towards the end.
We played some lovely football at time's with some high praise coming from the opposition manager. Cannot fault the effort from the lad's that were there they put 100% in like they do every week.

MOTM goes to Jack Farmer at RWB. He had a very tough game having to deal with there best player and had his best game of pre season so far.

We move onto the next one and look forward to getting closer to the season starting 🤞

SHOWING HOW ITS DONE IN STYLE!

Today we took on caversham United in another pre season friendly, we showed off our new kit and it didn’t disappoint. Right from the off we started fast and strong and never really gave caversham a chance on the ball. We saw our old formation of 3-5-2 played again today and I can’t fault anyone in any position from the starting back 3 of Jimmy Ryan and Hayden with later additions of Richard al and big Edward, to the middle 3 of Anton Jordan and Dean. Wing backs Ben and Shaun B, later adding in Jack Toby Matt and Josh. The starting top two of Jamie and Craig with Shaun b dipping in and out. (And Jordan little cameo 5 mins from the end). I cannot pin point any stand out performances today everyone really put it in. Defence was solid, midfield held the ball and controlled the whole game while Jamie setting himself a bar of 4 goals a game (he either scores 4 or none) lol and a rare two goals from Shaun B with hopefully more to come. A big thank you to Dylan for stepping in in goal today and made some unbelievable saves for us. From myself Clint and mudge thank you for the efforts today, we are building something special here. Thank you to the supporters for always being there, one last thing UTB🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔

Change in fixture for this weekend

18/08/2026

After receiving communication from the league I can confirm that the new season will now not start on the expected date of Sunday 6th September and the new start date is Sunday 4th October unless pitch conditions change beforehand.

Will be hoping to get some more friendlies in for September but will be on if we can get a pitch
