A fantastic way to begin our youth team journey.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Bettws FC Youth for hosting us this evening. We wish them all the very best for the season ahead.

Tonight wasn't just about the scoreline. It was about taking our first steps together as a new squad, and it was brilliant to see our new signings settle in so quickly. Every player embraced the challenge, worked tirelessly for one another and showed exactly what this group is capable of.

From the first whistle to the last, the football was outstanding. Patient in possession, relentless without the ball, and wave after wave of attacking football that was a joy to watch. The movement, passing and desire to keep playing the right way were exactly the standards we want to set for the season

There will be tougher tests ahead, but this was an excellent first outing and a performance the whole squad can be proud of.

Tonight marks the first fixture of our Porth Harlequins BGC Youth journey.

After weeks of hard work on the training pitch, it's finally time to pull on the shirt and represent the badge. Tonight isn't about the result alone—it's about building connections, earning minutes, welcoming our new signings into the group, and taking the first step in what we hope will be a memorable season.

Every player has the opportunity to make their mark. Every minute matters. Every challenge, every pass and every tackle helps us grow stronger as one team.

The countdown is on! Our pre-season schedule is now confirmed as we prepare for our first full season in youth football.

These games are about so much more than results. They're an opportunity for the boys to challenge themselves against quality opposition, build relationships on the pitch, gain vital minutes in their legs and continue developing as both footballers and young men.

Every tackle, every pass and every minute played brings us one step closer to the season ahead.

It's a new chapter for this group and we can't wait to watch their journey unfold.

We'd love to see as many of the Quins family there as possible supporting the lads throughout pre-season.

A player with academy pedigree coming through the ranks at Cambrian Academy, then stints with top clubs like Ynyshir Albion's & Ely Valley.
