As another memorable season comes to a close, Ystrad Rhondda RFC proudly recognises the players whose performances, commitment and dedication have stood out throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Top Try Scorer 2025/26

Kurtis Williams

Kurtis has been a constant attacking threat throughout the season, finishing as the club's leading try scorer. His pace, awareness and ability to find the try line in crucial moments have made him one of the most dangerous players in the league. Time and again he delivered when the team needed him most, turning opportunities into points and producing some memorable finishes along the way.

Breakthrough Player 2025/26

Leon Moore

This season has seen Leon emerge as one of the club's brightest young talents. His development, confidence and impact on the pitch have grown with every game, earning him the Breakthrough Player Award. Leon's commitment to improvement and willingness to learn have been evident throughout the campaign, and his future in the game looks incredibly bright.

Lewis Williams

Liam Wiggins

Liam's performances throughout the season consistently set the standard for those around him. Admission for the games at Pontypool Park will cost £10 (Under 16’s free) although both games WILL be included for season ticket holders.

Our club is built on the hard work, dedication and support of our members, volunteers and community. We're calling on everyone connected to Ystrad Rhondda RFC to come along and help keep Gelligaled Park looking its best.

There will be plenty to do, including:

✅ Ground clean-up and tidying
✅ Painting and general improvements
✅ Pitchside and facility maintenance
✅ Light repairs and upkeep
✅ General jobs around the ground

Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, every helping hand makes a difference.

🌭 BBQ & drinks will be provided for all volunteers.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow members, players, supporters, parents and friends while helping improve our club for the season ahead.
