Yorkshire Championships completed for Evie. A great semi final place in the girls under 14’s singles and a brilliant under 14’s girls doubles runner up place, so close to winning but a good come back from their opponents.

Back to back whitewashes give title hopes a huge boost! Another big 12-0 victory for the men’s team this morning at David Lloyd!

🌅🎾💜Great evening for our summer social, over 30 people of all ages, junior coaching, games for all and some free play, not to mention hot dogs and snacks! Thanks to everyone who helped out, special mention to Lucy for cooking over 40 hot dogs and supplying everyone with drinks! If they was your first time down at the club we’d love to see you again.

A great team performance from the 1st Mixed to achieve promotion having been due to be relegated just last season, saved only by a rejig of the leagues after a team dropped out of a higher league.

Team consistency played a massive part. Four of our team, our two strongest pairs, holding the top 4 spots in both the players table for number of matches played, also the table for most rubbers won in the division;
Ben and Evie having not missed a match all season 👏
Rachel and Steve C missing just two each.
No other team on the Division came close to this.

With Jayne and I only missing 4 matches each it meant we were able to field the most consistent team we have been able to for the last few seasons.

Riccall TC also has good strength in depth now which has shown in the brilliant substitutes who have played a major part in this promotion;
