A close fought game for our Ravens yesterday!

MATCH DAY | Ravens vs Yarm 🏉

What a battle today! 🔥

A really physical game from start to finish, with both teams putting everything on the line and fighting hard for the win. Unfortunately, it was Yarm who came away with the victory, edging us out 19–22 in a closely contested match.

🐦‍⬛ Our tries:
🔴 Autumn × 1
🔴 Belle × 2

A huge well done to everyone who took to the pitch today and gave it their all. 💪

A special shoutout to Lea on her debut in Ravens colours! ❤️🤍💛

Fantastic experience for some of our young players this morning…..it’s not every day that you are coached by an ex-Samoan international player! Huge thank you to Fereti Freddie Tuilagi for his time this morning.

New players welcome in all age groups, just come along and get involved, although we can’t guarantee a special guest every week!! 🏉

🏉 FULL TIME | A BATTLE TO THE END 🔴🟡

Local rivalries don’t get much tighter than that! 💥

A fiercely contested, hard-fought battle from the first whistle to the last, with both sides leaving absolutely everything out on the pitch.

Unfortunately, it’s Wensleydale who edge it, with the Shire going down 26–33. A seven-point difference in a game that could have gone either way, but plenty of heart, fight and determination shown by the lads in a proper local derby.

No lack of effort, no shortage of commitment, and plenty to take forward as we go again. 💪

Thank you to everyone who came down to support the lads and make some noise — it means a lot! 👏
