⚽️💙⚽️This marks the end of the U7’s first season of grassroots football. ⚽️💙⚽️

What a season it has been! We have seen a huge improvement in our players and can only praise them wholeheartedly on their commitment and perseverance.

Lots of goals, laughs and fun had by all. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents and relatives who turn up week on week to make this all happen! We couldn’t do it without you… come rain (like today) or shine. Roll on next season! ⚽️💙⚽️

It’s been another season of huge progress for the Richmond Town U11 Royals this year, as they finished their league and cup campaigns, finishing strongly, as we did, will result in progressing again for the 4th season in a row up the leagues.

The coaches want to congratulate each and every one of them and are immensely proud of how the lads have come on, both individually and collectively. Every one of the team has developed so much - on and off the pitch - over the course of the campaign and we’ve enjoyed some fantastic moments along the way!!

The future is bright for this bunch and we can’t wait to start working hard over the next few weeks as we look forward to next season.

A huge thanks to all the parents who give up their time to stand on the sidelines week in week out and support their boys. Finally, to our sponsors Scotfoam, Kwik cars and acomb construction, without whom, our success this year wouldn’t have been possible.

Amazing to have some of our Junior players as mascots for the over 40s team in their cup final win yesterday 🏆🏆⚽️💙💪

One of our talented young footballers and his dad were involved in a life threatening road traffic accident, they were both air lifted to hospital and are now facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

They are expected to remain at Newcastle Victoria Infirmary for the foreseeable future. Oakley and Damo share a truly special bond, and the families strength, courage, and love for one another continue to inspire everyone around them.

This fundraiser has been set up to help ease the initial pressures on the family during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time

The U7’s have had a great time in their Futsal tournament inside over the past few weeks. They have developed their skills, played as a team and most importantly had loads of fun! (Think the parents have secretly enjoyed staying warm and dry too!) We have seen some belting goals, strong tackles and excellent attitude. Thank you to our sponsors once again and heatingservices.
