our under 9s Royals are into there third season, it’s been brilliant watching them grow, both as footballers and as a team.

This season they took the big step into the TJFA league, starting in Division 6 out of 12. It’s been a new challenge, but the boys have taken it on brilliantly.

A massive thank you goes out to our home kit sponsors Simply Beds, for supporting us and helping give the boys this opportunity.

Our lovely new away kit sponsored by Advanced Blade repair services and the Burgess legends Jonny Burgess Conor Burgess and Aimeé Hellens holding it all together 🤣. Thank you so much Guys 💙

Rory and I are incredibly proud of the team and can’t wait to see how far they can go.

They Mighty Royals! ⚽💙

First games yesterday for RTFC U7's. What a fantastic turnout for the first group fixture of the season and the new era of U7's football. Big thanks to Thirsk Falcons for hosting. So proud of such a young team, it was a lot to take in and they took it in their stride. They all played their hearts out and we had plenty of smiles (and tears), goals, great teamwork and sportsmanship, oh and sweets!!!

⚽️💙⚽️This marks the end of the U7’s first season of grassroots football. ⚽️💙⚽️

What a season it has been! We have seen a huge improvement in our players and can only praise them wholeheartedly on their commitment and perseverance.

Lots of goals, laughs and fun had by all. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents and relatives who turn up week on week to make this all happen! We couldn’t do it without you… come rain (like today) or shine. Roll on next season! ⚽️💙⚽️

It’s been another season of huge progress for the Richmond Town U11 Royals this year, as they finished their league and cup campaigns, finishing strongly, as we did, will result in progressing again for the 4th season in a row up the leagues.

The coaches want to congratulate each and every one of them and are immensely proud of how the lads have come on, both individually and collectively. Every one of the team has developed so much - on and off the pitch - over the course of the campaign and we’ve enjoyed some fantastic moments along the way!!

The future is bright for this bunch and we can’t wait to start working hard over the next few weeks as we look forward to next season.

A huge thanks to all the parents who give up their time to stand on the sidelines week in week out and support their boys. Finally, to our sponsors Scotfoam, Kwik cars and acomb construction, without whom, our success this year wouldn’t have been possible.

Roll on next season. UTT 💙⚽️

One of our talented young footballers and his dad were involved in a life threatening road traffic accident, they were both air lifted to hospital and are now facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

They are expected to remain at Newcastle Victoria Infirmary for the foreseeable future. Oakley and Damo share a truly special bond, and the families strength, courage, and love for one another continue to inspire everyone around them.

This fundraiser has been set up to help ease the initial pressures on the family during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time

Any support, no matter how big or small, would mean the world. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would also be greatly appreciated.

On 21st March, Oakley and Damo were involved in a serious road collision on… Nicholle Morte needs your support for Supporting Oakley & Damo’s Road to Recovery
