⛳️ RGC Ladies Away Day to Saltburn

On Tuesday 46 ladies set off bright and early from Richmond Golf Club, bound for Saltburn Golf Club for what turned out to be a brilliant day both on and off the course.

The ladies played a team Texas Scramble, with some excellent scores – in fact, there wasn’t much separating the field, with scores ranging from just 52 to 60!

And at the other end of the leaderboard… Barbara Willis, Susan Gardner & Sheila Sadler, assisted by their trusty ghost player, took the honours for enjoying the lovely sea views.

The putting competition caused plenty of entertainment, with everyone having to putt at the sound of the whistle.

Afterwards, Saltburn Golf Club provided a delicious meal – with a bit of a hen-do theme as everyone celebrated the forthcoming weddings of our Lady Captain Claire Bateman to Lee Coward and Sue Stocks to her partner. 💍🥂

The fun continued on the journey home with songs on the coach and Claire attempting the Mr & Mrs Golf Quiz – with varying degrees of success! A special mention must surely go to the very patient coach driver!

Huge Congratulations to Vicky Mathers on becoming our new Vice Captain, who I’m sure will be a great asset to Nic Bailey during her tenure as Lady Captain.

A huge thank you to Nic Bailey for organising such a fantastic day and also to Saltburn Golf Club for hosting us.

Congratulations to the men’s Nerga Rabbits team who qualified on Saturday for the finals .

Dales Festival Results
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all of the volunteers who made the event another success. Prizewinners at Richmond Golf Club and Catterick Golf Club now have accounts at both proshops where they can spend their winnings in the shop or online. Bedale Golf Club winners will receive their vouchers in the post and they can be spent in any pro shop.
Overall results here and the daily results are on the 3 club Web sites. 2027 entries will open on September 1st. Hope to see you again next year.
