Last week, three of Denby’s wonderful volunteers were invited to The Cricket Collective Awards at the Our Co-op County Ground.

Stephen Green was crowned Newcomer of The Year for his fantastic commitment and contributions with our youngest junior blues, the All Stars. Well done Stephen - everyone at Denby appreciates the organisation and effort you put into Friday nights!

A special mention and big thank you to Mick Glenn and Rachael Marshall-Clarke, who were both shortlisted in their respective fields for their dedication and tireless hard work at Denby CC and were runners up on the evening.

Well done to our wonderful Denby blues 💙💙💙

𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓑𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓭𝓮𝓷!

Today, unfortunately, we said goodbye to our overseas Brayden Laffan, as he heads back home to Australia.

It’s a sad day for everyone involved at the club. In just 6 months, Brayden became a part of the furniture at The Copper Yard.

From the moment Brayden landed in England, he got stuck in. He fit seamlessly into the club, began working with our juniors and created memories we will never forget.

He came over at just 21 years old and what he went on to achieve with the club was nothing short of amazing.

Brayden was a standout performer in a historic season where the 1st XI won the Derbyshire Premier League for the first time in 25 years and completed their first Treble in 37 years! One particular standout being his 61* in the final of the Premier T20 Cup!
