Dancing Dreams

There is something I wish every dance parent knew.

Your child's dance teacher will forget most of the trophies. They will never forget your child.

They will remember the one who was afraid to walk into class and finally did. The one who cried in the corner and tried again anyway. The dancer who was not the most flexible, not the most advanced, not the one standing in the front row, but showed up every single week with heart.

They will remember the moment your child started believing in themselves.

Because dance is not just building performers. It is building young people who know how to work hard, take correction, handle disappointment, celebrate others, and keep going when something is hard.

So when you watch your child dance, do not only look for perfection.

Look for courage.
Look for joy.
Look for growth.

Because long after the costumes are packed away and the music has ended, those are the things dance will leave behind.
