Earlier this summer, cadets from 6F, 2048 & across the wider Wing came together for our annual Culture Night & Summer Party! 🗺️🎉

It was a fantastic evening celebrating our different cultures, with a variety of food dishes, a henna station, flag-making, a raffle, and a quiz organised by Cdt Hernandez & Cdt Ojera! 🌟

Huge thank you to the 6F & 2048 NCOs involved in planning and delivering such a great evening! 🙌

Last night, our OC attended the Forces in Business Awards as a finalist for Inspiration of the Year, joined by the Regional Comdt - Gp Cpt Walton ⭐️

With thousands of nominations, being selected as one of 12 finalists is an amazing achievement and recognition of the work she does to support our cadets and the wider Armed Forces community at her workplace.

We are incredibly proud of the leadership, commitment and opportunities she continues to create for others🙌💫

Congratulations to our Squadron SNCO, Sgt Haluwa, on successfully completing his Combined Initial Course (CIC) at RAF College Cranwell 👏✈️

The course is an important milestone in developing the knowledge and skills required to continue leading and supporting our cadets.

🛫Flying & Gliding🛬

Over the last few weeks, 4 cadets had the chance to attend flying at 2 AEF Boscombe Down, and 8 cadets went gliding at 615 VGS Kenley!

Our very own Flt Lt Easton was even able to take Fg Off Bickhan and CI Farrell for a flight at the VGS🤩

From taking control in the air to experiencing aerobatics, these opportunities are a huge part of what makes the cadet experience so exciting ✈️
