Connor's Cross Channel Challenge

After a year of relentless fundraising which began with Jude's Coffee morning, a Quiz Night, Ladies Weekend away, a Casino Night and of course Connor's amazing swim Lee was able to present £5,500 to our closest Charity, Scoliosis Association UK.

This could not have been done without each and everyone of you and your amazing support.

It's only fair this campaign page needed a little respite with all you generous folk sending into meltdown with your generosity...! But today it kicked off with a lovely donation made collectively by Spartans FC which now means Connor's total has reached another milestone.

We've come along way since his original target of £800 and are so near a humongous £3k to give to Scoliosis UK.

has surpassed the £2,000 mark !!

His final hurdle is now approaching with preparation again tonight in place getting him ready for tomorrow AM and then landing on French soil in the evening.

* Day 5 *

Promoting his Challenge has been the order of today mainly whilst Connor prepares himself for the final strait to "Calais".

These next two days will be his toughest with back to back sessions in the pool both early morning and in the evenings pushing those last thousands of metres that will see him accomplish this amazing challenge in aid of Scoliosis UK

Lets carry on getting this out there, amongst your friends, your family amd those you work with and by the weekend we can get him over the £2k mark for this worthy cause.

* Day 4 - Phenominal *

Back in for the plunge today and another belting session, with Connor pushing out 4,650m.

A change to his schedule tomorrow means he'll be doubling up his plunges toward the end of the week.

Folks... he is roughly a couple of a hundred £'s off from £2k. Lets help him get there. You've seen the videos and the effort he's putting in, lets do the same for him.
