🥋 Never tried Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before? Perfect.

We’re looking for 20 complete beginners from Romsey and the surrounding area to join a brand-new BJJ beginners group at Ouroboros MMA.

No experience needed. You don’t need to already be fit, flexible or know anything about martial arts. We’ll teach you from the beginning.

To give you a proper chance to see whether you actually enjoy it, your first 14 days are completely FREE.

That gives you 4 classes to get on the mats, learn the basics and see what BJJ is actually like.

If you enjoy it, we’ve then got a structured beginners programme running through November, December and January so you can keep learning alongside the same group.

Yes, they’ll learn real martial arts — striking, wrestling and grappling — but they’ll also spend their time moving, solving problems, working with other young people and developing skills they can keep building on.

You don’t need to know how to fight.

And you certainly don’t need to turn up on your first night knowing what you’re doing.

That’s what training is for.

At Ouroboros MMA in Romsey, we teach our fluid Muay Thai style!

Stance, movement, defence, punches, kicks, knees, elbows, pad work and controlled sparring, developed progressively as your ability and confidence grow.

Some people come to get fitter.
Some want to learn how to fight.
Some want more confidence.
Some eventually want to compete.

You don’t need to know which one you are yet.
