Over at Hayfield lakes today for the rod only mini match 3 series run by des and David

Havent fished hayfield lakes in under 15 years soo didn’t know what to expect, Joey drew peg 52 kept it simple finishing pellets long and short

Came away with section win, and 6th overall, with 52lb 4oz winning the lake was 66lb soo touch day fishing all around
Looking forward to round 2 🎣🐟

One from yesterdays open match over at Messingham sands, this time on the trip lake, another lake I haven’t fished but was really looking forward to it,

Went it bag pulled out 30
Got to the peg and it was blowing a gale so was setting lines up short wasn’t struggling with pole😂

Had a lovely day one a chuck
Ended up with 117.09lb
First tone in the bag for me for Messingham 👌🎣

Two to catch up on from this week
Went over to messingham sands for the Friday open
Went in the hat pulled 20 on Hollywood strip
Means nothing to me as I have just started fishing the place, weight 50 odd lb but what a place it is! 👌

Sunday open match over at Hallcroft on the moat
Drew peg 72 moat outer, every time I go over to the place I pick that side of lake, but sat it out as it was a nice day with the weather ended up 3rd in section 🎣👌

Two to catch up on this week booked on Lindholme 3 day summer festival day 1 pulled 51 bennys out the bag, got told it was a decent area struggled most of day with wind weight in 87.4 and biggest fish at 18.4

Day two pulled out 14 bonsai had that much going off I sat on peg 15 didn’t know till last 10 mins till Alex come over and told me 😂 soo disqualified my weight from day two leaving me last in section soo that was me done.

Day 3 with my festival being over I stayed local and went up to fish Barnburgh lake on the Friday open, pulled out peg 25 never like that side of the lake, but fished for a days fishing pulling out 171.13lb for 6th on the lake some good nets of fish was caught

Local one today for me went over to Barnburgh lakes on the open top lake drew peg 2, never been on that area but fancied a days fishing 🐟

Good days fishing keeping it simple with pellets ended up 3rd in match with a 155lb well done Robert Dearnley top day 🎣

Aston park on split peg 34, fished a straight simple match struggled to get through the eyed having the odd bonus f1 and carp Hopeing the edge would be were I caught some better fish,

Wind made it hard work and messy at times, 64 eyed 30 pound of f1s/carp for 55.12 for 6th and a section win 🎣🎣
