Sedgley & Gornal Utd East 5-5 Pirates

A real game of 2 halves today, as we dominated the first half, playing some superb football, seeing us come in 3-1 up.

We started the 2nd half well, going 4-1 up but credit to Sedgley, they refused to give in and once they got it back to 4-2, they pegged us back for long periods, resulting in us going 5-4 down in the last minute!

With seconds remaining, from kick off, the ball was played back to Will in his own half, he then went on a mazy run into the box, forced the keeper into a great save and Ibrahim tapped in the equaliser with last kick of the match!

A fantastic way to end a really competitive match, a draw was in the end, a fair result for 2 teams that refused to give in.

Congratulations to Archie on winning POTM, he was superb today, topping off his performance with 2 goals and an assist 👏🏆👏

Pirates 11-0 Cradely Town DC East

A first win of the season was secured in style today, as we recorded a club record score and kept our first clean sheet of the season!

The football we played was fantastic to watch, we were clinical in front of goal and defended fantastically.

This week's POTM was shared between Zach and Anmol, along with all the others players today, they played brilliantly 👏🏆👏

Pirates 1-1 Cradely Town FC

A brilliant performance from the team today, in a really enjoyable and competitive match.

The football we played was a pleasure to watch, constantly taking the game to the opposition, with their keeper pulling off several top draw saves.

After a long summer the season finally returned today and what lovely weather had 🌧️☔

Despite putting in a battling performance we eventually fell to a 4-0 loss.

We will take the lessons learnt from today, work hard in training and look to get a positive result next time out.

What a way to sign off preseason, with a 6-0 win!

The lads put in a superb performance, you would never of known we were playing with no subs.

The football we played from the first minute to the last was an an absolute pleasure to watch.

Congratulations to Will on winning MOTM, he put in a midfield master class performance, even chipping in with a couple of goals 👏🏆👏

A really good work out for the lads today, as we played our first 11 aside match since the 18th May!

With several players away on holiday, we went into the match with no subs and a trialist playing.

We played superbly against a team 2 divisions above, giving them a good game before eventually falling to a 5-0 defeat.

Tyler made his debut in goal, pulling off several great saves, earning him MOTM 👏🏆👏

What a great day out at The Birmingham Lord Mayor's Tournament.

As the format was 7aside, we entered 2 teams, Pirates Red & Pirates Black.

We can take so many positives from today's tournament, with both teams reaching the knock out stages, Black going out in the quarters and Red bowing out in the semi final!

If was great to see our new number 1 Tyler make his Pirates debut, playing for the Blacks, he put in a great performance, including a stunning save in the group stages.

We even got to witness a penalty shootout win for the Reds in the quarters!

Congratulations to Archie and Anmol on winning our joint players of the tournament. Along with all the other players, they both put in brilliant performances. 👏🏆👏
