The 26/27 season is underway!!!

Now to the football.......

Only 3 of our teams played yesterday with the newly formed First XI and our new U14s team having a weekend with no fixtures.

Our U11s played in a hard match against older opponents but their grit and determination was outstanding. None of the lads let their heads drop and kept on fighting till the end. A beautiful first goal from our star striker saw us win the second half. A great team effort and we are really proud of our youngest team. All of them are superstars 👏

The U15s played an away match that was exciting from start to finish. Great performances from all the lads and great teamwork. This is a team that is going to put in some great performances this year. Well done lads. The coaches were pleased with every one of you 👏

The U15 Greys started their season at home. Again it was another hard fought and end to end match that had everything - penalties, penalty saves, drama and excitement. Two proud coaches and a cracking start to the season. Another team to watch over the season. Well done lads 👏

Stars of the Week

U11s - nothing could seperate these two. A fantastic performance and 150% effort from one, and 150% effort and a cracking goal from the other. Well done boys 👏

U15s - this player gave the performance you want from a keeper, great saves and great distribution. An outstanding performance and he keeps getting better and better 👏

U15s Greys - what can we say about this player? Works hard, motivates the team and truly deserved the award this week. Well done 👏

Supporters Player U15 Greys - an easy choice for the parents this week. Fantastic performance and great attitude. Well done 👏

All our teams were in action today and some great football was played......

The U10s took part in a really exciting match with end to end action and goals galore. We set off at a blistering pace and really showed our quality. Great attacking football from the lads and another quality match, putting into practice what they learn in training sessions. Well done 👏

The U14s played in a tough match. They worked the ball well and showed the qualities they all possess. A really good game for the lads today and they showed their potential for next season with great teamwork and some truly outstanding goals. Well done lads 👏

The U14 Greys battled for the full match but luck wasnt on their side today. Usually they would have walked away with 4 or 5 goals but it just didnt happen today. That said, they still showed they are a force to be reckoned with. Good examples of team work and ball skills. Well done lads 👏

Stars of the Week

U10s - our little Messi showed how great he is today. Great work rate, great dribbling and a fantastic goal to round it all off. Excellent performance 👏

U14s - a brace of goals and a match impacting performance saw this player deservedly win MOTM. Quality through and through and we know he has more to give. Well done player 👏

U14 Greys - another outstanding performance from this player. Unfortunately his game time today was cut short due to a head injury but the impact he had on the game was immense. Fantastic effort 👏

Just the two teams in action this weekend, before the mid week matches begin for our U14s teams.....

The U10s played a great match with end to end action and plenty of goals. It was another great team performance by this team of budding superstars and the lads worked hard from start to finish. A really impressive team performance. Well done lads 👏

The U14 Greys played in a tough battle where they dominated play. An outrageous goal scored from distance by one of the lads and a second goal to seal the win saw the lads put in another class performance. A great display of what these lads are capable of. Well done lads 👏

Stars of the Week

U10s - this superstar recently moved to playing in midfield from defence....two amazing goals and an assist show that it was a great move!! A well deserved MOTM award to this amazing young man 👏

U14 Greys - to win MOTM amongst a team of players performing like the Greys are shows the level of football this player reached during the match this week. The coaches could have chosen any of the players for MOTM but this player was all over the pitch making tackles and passes the entire match. Outstanding 👏

All our teams played tough matches today....

U10s got off to a slow start and took some time to settle into the game. Once they found their feet they gave the opposition a good game. A few players missing today, including the keeper so well done and thank you to the lads who offered to play in goal. Unfortunately the frantic ten minutes at the start of the match was costly but the lads kept their heads held high and gave 100% for every minute of the game.

U14s had a busy day with end to end action. Some good football on display but despite the lads best efforts the result didnt go their way. The coaches are happy with the change in attitude and performance from the lads and they are starting to gel and come together as a team. Keep your heads up lads

The U14s Greys weren't their usual selves today. Silly bickering within the team and a lacklustre display meant that the result didnt go their way. Unusually they were 2nd to every ball and didn't play how we are used to seeing them play. That said, the lads are a capable bunch and we have no doubt they will bounce back next week.

U10 - a great defensive display on show today by this young start and he really made it hard work for the other team. Excellent work and well played 👏

U14 Greys - despite the performances on show today this player still put in an outstanding performance and played hard for the full match. Great stuff 👏

Just 2 of our teams in action this week, with the U10s having a well deserved break.

The U14s looked superb in their fixture this week. Great team work and, more importantly, great attitude shown by all the lads. They got their heads down and worked hard and worked for each other. A great display by the lads and its great to see them showing the potential we knew they had. Well done 👏

The U14s Greys played against a high ranking opponent but dominated them with an outstanding performance. This game had everything, goal line clearances, penalties, end to end action and a last minute winner! A great performance by a great bunch of lads. Well done 👏

Stars of the Week

U14s - this was the type of performance we knew this player had in him and just what the team needed from their keeper. He kept the team in the game and showed exactly that standard he can perform at. Outstanding 👏

U14s Greys - a classic strikers performance and he worked hard all game. Despite the performance of the team this player shone for the full 70 minutes. The coaches were delighted with the effort and skill on display. Well done 👏

Well done to the Greys Parents Player of the Week too. Great performance and great consistency from this star.

Another great weekend of football, with all of our teams in action.....

The u10s played an exciting and hard fought match with all the lads putting in 100% effort throughout the game. Some great football on display by BCR's youngest team and the lads kept battling until the final whistle. Well done lads 👏

The u14s showed the potential they possess during their match. End to end action and great resilience by the lads saw them play some amazing football both as a team and some great individual performances. Well done lads 👏

The u14 greys had a difficult match this week but didnt let their heads drop. They played with their usual grit and determination and are really gelling as a team. The coaches were really pleased with how the lads conducted themselves and couldn't ask for anymore from them. Well done lads 👏

U10s - this superstar really excelled this week, putting in hard hitting tackles all over the pitch. A fantastic performance and he almost got on the score sheet!! Excellent work. Well done 👏

U14s - the coaches saw this player dominate in his position and were really pleased that it all came together for him. A truly talented footballer this performance showed what he is made of. Well done 👏

U14s Greys - a strong performing team means that a MOTM performance has to be something special, and this player provided just that. Week in, week out he works hard the whole match and this week he excelled in every minute. Well done 👏

Last update of the day for last Sundays matches....

The U10s played amazingly, showing why they won the league trophy last season. They worked well as a team and had some amazing individual performances. The team are really coming on now and are developing in to fantastic player. Well done lads 👏

The U14s had a tough match this weekend but their determination, drive and resilience was outstanding. All of the lads put in massive amounts of effort and the final scoreline didnt reflect the game and how close it was. Heads up lads, we move on to next week. Well done all 👏

The U14 Greys again showed the great team spirit they possess and what a team they are. Great match from this newly formed team and a superb display of team work and hard graft. The coaches are impressed each week with the skill and determination on show. Well done Greys, we are all proud of you 👏

Stars of the Week

U10 - this player did not stop running all match. He was making tackles at the back and then taking shots at the front. A great individual performance.

U14 - another outstanding individual performance from this player. The coaches were under no doubt who this weeks MOTM was and were impressed with the hard work and level of skill displayed by him. Well done 👏

U14 Greys - this MOTM showed a truly superb performance. His confidence is increasing and this shows from game to game. It is exciting to see what performance he will put in next as he confidence soars each week. Well done 👏

We have a couple of weeks of updates to provide you – apologies for the late posts!!

Our teams are slowly getting back into action and beginning to play matches as the pitches all start to dry out. We have had a number of Players of the Week and the photos, as always, are below.

U10’s

A couple of great matches played by the U10s over the last couple of weeks. Excellent team work, great individual skill and work rate have seen them excel and control matches and shows how far they have come in their football journey.

We would like to say a big thank you to Training who have kindly agreed to sponsor and purchase winter coats for the U10s. Thank you so much for sponsoring the team.

U14’s

The U14s have had a busy couple of weeks and have played in some tough matches. They are a great bunch of lads and have got the right attitude to go with it. It is only a matter of time before the results begin to go their way but with the hard work they put in, we know that the wins are going to start to happen very soon. The team have also been hit hard with a number of injuries recently which has made match day selection difficult for the coaches. Keep up the hard work lads, it will pay off.

U14’s Greys

The Greys are going from strength to strength, and their results show how well they are doing. They have suffered from more cancellations of matches that our other teams so still have a number of matches left to play. The matches they have played have seen them working hard as a team, scoring worldy goals and showing great resilience. The coaches are over the moon with the teams performances and the effort shown by all players. Well done lads, keep it up.
