On the 12th of June 2011 The Heroes Half Marathon was launched from the Army Training Regiment ATR (B) in Bassingbourn Cambridgeshire.

2012 will see the race grow from strength to strength. There are limited places available. endurorunning.com is extremely grateful for the British Army’s support. ATR (B) have allowed the race to start and finish on their training area.

The Crown Pub (Litlington Village)

The Landlady of the Crown Public House in Litlington Village (10 Mile Point of the race) would like to welcome spectators into the pub from 0900am on Sunday, and will be putting on Bacon, Egg or Sausage Sandwiches and Tea/Coffee for a very reasonable price.

The Pub is situated right on the race route, and runners will pass just meters from the front seating area. It is an ideal spot for any spectators supporting the race, and Debbie will make you feel right at home. She is also more than happy for runners to use the pub WC, should you feel the need on the way past! Debbie would also like to welcome both runners and spectators into the pub for a post-race drink or lunch. Homemade Sunday roasts, Pork, Beef, Chicken and all the trimmings will be available. (The crown is approximately 10-15 minutes away by car)
