You Matter Too
Many capable women gradually find themselves carrying a great deal of responsibility — in their families, relationships, and work.
Often it happens quietly and over time.
What begins as helping, coping, and being reliable can slowly turn into feeling responsible for everything and everyone. In the process, many women notice something subtle but important: they’re very present in everyone else’s needs — but less present in their own lives.
Several years ago, I found myself in that position.
Although everything looked fine from the outside, internally I felt as though I had moved away from the centre of my own life.
Through reflection, I began to understand how that pattern had formed — and how gently repositioning myself could change how I experienced my responsibilities and my life.
That experience eventually led me to create the reflective course Remembering You Matter Too, where we explore:
• how responsibility gradually gathers
• the emotional load that can accompany it
• the beliefs and patterns that keep it in place
• and how to return to the centre of your own life
The first round of the course is currently running.
Several people have already asked about the next round, so I’ve created an interest list. If you’d like to hear when the next round opens, you’re very welcome to join the list. You’ll find the link in the comments.
Joining the list simply means you’ll be notified when the next round is announced — there’s no obligation to join the course.
You matter too — in your own life as well as everyone else’s.

Sometimes nothing is dramatically wrong.
You’re functioning.
You’re coping.
You’re responsible.
And yet — something feels slightly off.
A little distant.
A little stretched.
A little sidelined.
Remembering You Matter Too begins in 2 days.
It’s a 4-week, self-study reflective course for women who are carrying a lot — and ready to include themselves again.
If this has been quietly resonating, you’re very welcome to join.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It isn’t about fixing yourself.
It isn’t about dropping your responsibilities.
It’s about noticing where you are — and including yourself again.
We begin 23 February. You’re very welcome to join us.

One week from today we begin.
This is not a course about becoming someone new.
It’s not about fixing yourself.
It’s not about adding more.
It’s about noticing where you are —
and including yourself again.
If you are:
• carrying a lot of responsibility
• coping well
• but feeling slightly absent from your own life
you would be very welcome.
We begin 23 February.

It’s easy to drift to the sidelines of your own life — not because anything is wrong, but because responsibility slowly takes over.
If this resonates, awareness is often the first step towards meaningful change.

I’m gathering insights from women in their 40s and 50s who feel buried under responsibilities, guilty for their resentment, exhausted from pretending everything is fine, and longing for a life where THEY finally matter.
If this resonates with you — or with someone you know — I’d be grateful if you’d fill in or share this short, confidential survey.
Find the survey link in the comments.
