Great to see the parents getting involved especially during our end of session kick off challenge. Well done to Hugo D and coach Tom G-M for longest kick for the players and parents.

Great games today for all of the team. Played with the bare 7 players over two matches and all gave it everything across both matches.

We have a wknd off with Easter next wknd 🐣 from all us coaches have a lovely wknd.

We return for a change in schedule on 12th April for training. Old Scouts do not have an U8’s team available so we have decided to have a training session. So more tactical contact training ready for next season 🤼

What a fantastic morning from everyone of you.

The creativity of the team play, the formation of both defence and attack was sublime. Definitely the best game/s from you all season.

Congrats to our weekly winners, as mentioned by the coaches each of you made this weeks a really hard decision and you all should be proud of what you did today 💪🏻

Coaches player of the week: Evelin 🏆 🏅 really showed great energy and took the confidence to get at the other team and beat them, always being in a position to receive the ball and going out and tagging the other team when in defence.

Parents player of the week: Hudson🏆 🏅 today you showed have been called the flying Hudson with you aerobatic tagging, flying in the air and swiping the tags off the other team, going forward you zipped past their defence as if they were stuck in the mud.

Amazing individual efforts from you both 💪🏻

We have a week off games and return to some fundamental training with tackling at the forefront of this session. So let’s bring the energy next Sunday and have some fun getting as muddy as possible.

A massive well done to all of you today.

Big shout out to Old Coventians RFC for keeping the fixture alive and inviting to reverse the fixture to their ground after another waterlogged pitch at RSA.

Even though the weather and ground conditions were ‘not the best’ let’s call it. You all gave your best and ended up on top in the match.

We will do this weeks players awards next week as I the players just wanted to get out of that weather asap 😂😂😂👍

What a fantastic morning playing against Pinley RFC

All the players amazed us coaches and parents on both sides.

Great commitment from everyone. Plenty of tries, tackles and all round happy muddy faces 👏

As we didn’t get chance to do a final week in December we decided to award a couple more today:

Coaches players of the week: Hugo B & Hugo D (or better known as the double H’s) 🏆 🏅 🏆 🏅 both of you played great in both games, carrying the ball forward gaining territory, setting up tries, getting your own tries and as always being the battling duo. 💪🏻 💪🏻

Parents player of the week: Evelin & Charlie 🏆 🏅 🏆  🏅 both came with a positive energy in matches and produced some fantastic forward runs, setting up tries in the process to ensure the team got the win. Fantastic team effort by both 💪🏻 🏉

All of the players should be really proud with themselves after today’s performance 👏, all the coaches are 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

We go again next week against Rugby Lions at their ground. We will post in the week meet times and scheduled kick off 👍
