What about him boys and girls,, he’s a proper pattern isn’t he?

Dapple grey gelding rising 4 year old.

He’s 14.1 or 2 at the moment, plenty left in him to.

Bit late this morning but let’s get after it 👊That big ole belly won’t get itself off 🤗

⭐️⭐️Stella⭐️⭐️

Lusitano mare…. Part 3,,

First time in the saddle tonight, see how it goes!

I generally leave the saddle on over night the first couple of times, just to let them really get used to it, so they know it won’t harm them…

Overnight until the morning, I say 24 hrs in the video but I meant 12 🤦‍♂️🤣

⭐️⭐️The only judge is the horse⭐️⭐️

The fire breathing Lusitano mare ‘Stella’ this evening…

We all got opinions, is this way the best way, that riders good , that riders bad, that training method is bad that ones good , so on and so on..

However, peoples opinions mean nothing in reality , there opinions… The horse is ultimately the only judge.

If your doing it right the horse will be wilfully guided , if not, your doing it wrong…. AND THATS IT!!

When you untie the horse or have no one holding the head, no reins attached to the bit, your left with one thing…. THE TRUTH 👊 have you set the horse up for success or failure? Does the animal understand what you’re trying to do?

If they look like this after a couple of hours, the answer is yes…. Remember the horse is the most honest creature in the world, he’ll let you know on the spot, he won’t lie… Maybe we can all learn a bit from the horse!

Thanks for following friends , I really appreciate it…. Please like and share my page if you are interested… Thankyou.

Have a nice evening everyone and I’ll see you tomorrow mates.

⭐️⭐️That was a day or two ago⭐️⭐️

Just found these old pictures, my mum, me and my little brother…

It was about that time or just before my parents divorced, was a rough time for them I would imagine, we were potless that time, never had much at all…

My mum didn’t drive then and with my dad not about we had to walk to the yard to feed the horses every day, it was 3.5 mile there and 3.5 mile back, I know that because I’ve just googled it 🤣

Wind , rain and snow we were walking, my mum worked 3 jobs at that time on top of that aswell, raising 4 sons…….. They don’t make them like they used to I’m telling ya!

She passed away a long time ago, I honestly think about her every day.

Tell your mum you love her everyday and be grateful for her, one day your gonna miss her ❤️

⭐️⭐️My work here is nearly done⭐️⭐️

GGG this evening, I didn’t work him this past couple of days as he was very foot sore up front, I had to wait for the farrier to put a set of fronts on today.

He’ll be a lot better tomorrow.

The future is looking very bright for him now, last Monday night I collected him, look at the difference in him today, he’s gonna be a great horse for somebody!
