Well that was a very eventful road trip with Marty the Monkey . Hannah Rogers 40th birthday on saturday and then on to Elvington to see the Martin McConnell Spirit of Victory Memorial Trophy being handed out to this year's very worthy recipient Paul Milbourn . Paul was chosen by Trevor Duckworth (who received the trophy last year) for being a passenger on the back of Jack Frost and breaking the world two up speed record at 234 mph ! It was a very fitting choice by Trevor as this was a record that Martin McConnell had wanted to attempt , and was even making plans for on the day he took his last ride at Tibenham Airfield . So massive congratulations to Paul it will be great seeing your name on the trophy beside Trevor's and Jack's and im sure Martin would have approved 💯💪🏍😎

Also a massive thanks to David Dodge Rogers for helping out and loaning me his car on Sunday so I could get back up to Elvington for the presentation and for making sure we got home safely ,by lending me his spare battery when the van suffered some charging issues whilst up at Elvington and then me n Marty managed to hit a pheasant on the way to Hannah's party which tore off the drivers side wiper in the pouring rain . Cheers 🙂

Last minute decision to display our multi championship winning and record setting GSXR 1000 Turbo at the Knebworth Classic Show . There,s some great vehicles here and the sun is shining so if you're stuck for something to do it's well worth a visit , I hope to see a few of you here 🙂

Next Wednesday at 11.00am it will be 2 years since we lost our good friend and brother in speed Martin McConnell , a few of us will be travelling to Tibenham Airfield where Martin took his last ride ,to pay our respects to the great man, and anyone else who wishes to turn up will be very welcome .
