As one final goodbye on Saturday 2nd april ( the last lesson) anyone who has been taught by the mermaid academy that owns their own tail is welcome to come join in with the students who are currently with us from 830 till 1030
If you are able to come please private msg us so we roughly know how many are gonna join in

It is with great regret that as of the 2nd April the IW Mermaid Academy will not be teaching. With the cost of living going up and a reduced number of pupils we are no longer able to survive
Both Ian and Gemma are very sad as they have enjoyed teaching and seeing the smiles that end up on the faces of all that have been part of the journey

NEWS FLASH
Ian has been able to do some paperwork this morning and hopes that this will help him for the next few months
He's sat down and worked out everyone's payment dates up till December he will private msg everyone so they know when the next payment is due.

Well done Mermaid Lily on gaining the highest Medal achievable to date. You have worked so hard for this.

CHRISTMAS HAT COMPETITION
The 20th of December will be our last session of 2021 we are inviting all mermaids in lessons to come and swim between 830 and 1030 to have a bit of fun meeting up with all the other groups and maybe play some games
We will also be running a Christmas Mermaid hat competition where the lucky winners (top three) will receive a prize

Sorry for short notice but lan is away on the mainland this weekend so there will be no lesson this week

After all the hype surrounding the squid games I adapted it to child friendly pool games
1 red light green light
2 how quick can you pick up sinkers
3 push of war
4 pick up sinkers and place on the island

Following on from last week's exciting lessons who's ready for this

Today's lesson the children got to Trick or Treat in the pool while also playing Heads or Tails

So we had a very special visit today!!!

The beautiful Mermaid Marianne came to see all the mermaids, and wow what a morning. She has also kindly donated one of her books, that she has written herself on Mermaid Crafting (which will be in the pictures) so that we can give away as a prize for our next competition. 😀
Thankyou so much Marianne you really made the girls morning, they loved practicing posing, blowing hearts, bubbles and rings. This has givin the girls inspiration for their Mermaiding future.
She was so impressed with you all young Mermaids in the making. 😊
