Something different from us for a change. No carbon fibre involved in this…!!
The CF by L and L Team are on their summer break until 17th / 18th August… We always like to be on the water, albeit this time in a 7.7m rib we chartered with a little 250hp outboard 😊 (Leigh has his ICC thankfully.)
A fab and very warm day going from Cavalaire to St. Tropez, a slow cruise around Port Grimaud, stop for a couple of swims and lunch in some bays and then back to Cavalaire.
We didn’t partake but… love the ice cream / cold drinks / apple turnovers / sandwiches and salad boat which was in one of the bays (see one of the photos) going around all the anchored boats!!

We’re still available on the phone and are checking emails every few days. Any orders placed will be processed as soon as we’re back to the grind on the 18th!

The CF by L and L Team are now on Summer Shutdown until 18th August but here are a few tiller extensions and two prodders we completed and dispatched last week!
In total we completed 44 tiller extensions, two prodders and 23 ILCA tillers during the week. It was busy busy busy!!!! Lots of long hours to get them finished before we departed for our break!
We’re still available by phone and are checking emails every couple of days if you have any requirements!

Spinnaker poles, spinnaker poles and more spinnaker poles!! Oh, and a tillerextension for a Cadet!
Two lovely red and black end to end Fireball spinnaker poles went to Royal Torbay Yacht Club for an overseas Customer for the Fireball Worlds!
A fabulous blue and black GP14 spinnaker pole went to a Customer ready for the GP14 Irish Nationals and then the Worlds!
Shiny black and fab red and black XOD spinnaker poles went off to two Customers!
The sparkly gold and black Cadet tiller extension is for one of our sponsored sailors and is off to the Worlds in Lake Garda!
This week we have just 41 tiller extensions, two prodders and 20 ILCA tillers, (mainly for our lovely Trade Customers) to finish before our Summer Break starts on Friday 24th…!!
Any orders placed between 24th July and 17th August will be produced ASAP when we get back to the grind on 18th August!

Last week we finished and sent this lovely shiny Strap Strut to a customer for his Solo dinghy.
What’s a Strap Strut you ask…
It’s to help protect your dinghy when towing:
> You place it on the deck and attach the ratchet strap to your trailer as normal. Because it’s wider than your boat the ratchet strap holds it down to the trailer and is not trying to fold up or crush your dinghy causing stress and sometimes damage to the hull.
> The dense, closed cell foam is shaped and positioned to fit the deck, spreading the load and again helping prevent any damage to your boat.
> The ratchet strap runs through the carbon tube and there are quick release pins at both ends (attached with dyneema so you don’t lose them) so that if the strap should come lose for any reason it’s not going to flap about inside the strap strut.
> Carbon plates inside the ends of the Strap Strut make sure the ratchet strap is not running over thin carbon and therefore helps to eliminate wear to the strap.
> Being carbon, it’s very lightweight and strong!
We admit they’re not cheap BUT a lot better - and cheaper- than hull damage and repairs!

A lovely gloss black carbon finish end to end spinnaker pole for an XOD, just before it was packed ready to leave us in the morning.
One of the versions and colours we do (yes, we love colour and we do black carbon as well!)! 😊
NB: Trip line left loose for the Customer to tie as they require / prefer.

Our CFbyLandL® unique Pop_Off_UJ® which is easy and quick release even with cold, wet, tired hands (no nails, screwdrivers or knives required!!!) is 100% compatible with the old RWO Omniflex UJ base…? Most of you will have an Omniflex base on your tiller, and assuming it’s in pretty good condition , you wouldn’t even need to change it (although we include a new base) to use our UJ…!
Available in both rope core and now non-rope core versions!
NB: Please don’t drill / pin / bolt through the rope core version!
