It’s called the magic circle for good reason 😃your core will thank you 🙏

1. Criss Cross. Holding the ring keeps the shoulders and arms in-line and switches on the obliques even more.

2. Diamond table top with ring between thighs and toes pointed and touching. As you lift head and shoulders off the carriage SQUEEZE the ring.

3. Frog leg extension. Start in diamond table top with flexed feet and heels together. As you lift head and shoulders, extend the legs straight into a v formation and point the toes. Return with flexed feet.

4. Leg extension with ring above ankle. Start in traditional table top with the ring positioned above the ankle. As you lift head and shoulders extend the legs and point the toes.

5. To end the sequence, remain lifted and SLOWLY extend and bend the legs in and out.

My timetable at The Good Pilates Club, St Albans this week 😁

As well as lots of all level reformer classes available, why not try cardio trampoline with reformer on Saturday at 10.45am. 💪

A combination of rebounder (to get the heart rate pumping!) and classical Pilates moves.

Can’t wait to teach my clients this Core & Arm Sequence

1 x 🔵spring, ball positioned below shoulder blades and light hand weights (optional)

The ball really helps clients who have slight back issues or struggle lifting their head and shoulders off the carriage.

Inhale as you push the carriage out…. Exhale to return 😮‍💨

Your core will thank you 🙏

Join me at this boutique studio in the centre of St Albans❤️

Every Tuesday at 7pm it’s Elevate - a classic intermediate reformer class. Not suitable for complete beginners.

Every Friday at 12pm it’s Fusion- a boot-camp style class which combines strength training with reformer. 💪
