💚💛⚽ BIG NEWS… SANDHURST FC × SKILLZ SCHOOL 🖤💛

We’re incredibly excited to officially announce our new partnership with Skillz School for the 2026/27 season! 🤝

Having worked alongside Skillz School over the past year, we’ve spent the last few months looking at how we can take that relationship even further – bringing more opportunities, support and development to our players and coaches across the club.

As part of the partnership:

⚽ FREE Skillz School coaching sessions for Sandhurst FC teams
🧠 FREE coach development clinics throughout the season
🔥 Skillz School coaches working alongside our teams & coaches
🟡 The launch of the U10 Girls Skillz School FC pilot and development pathway
🎓 Coaching & work experience opportunities for our older players
🏆 Continued 20% discount on Skillz School camps for all Sandhurst FC players

And this is just the start! 🙌

For us, this partnership is about building on everything that makes Sandhurst FC such a great community club, while giving our players and coaches access to the additional experience, coaching and opportunities Skillz School can bring.

Two organisations. One community. More opportunities for our young players. 💚💛🖤⚽

A huge thank you to Arran, Joe, Craig and everyone at Skillz School for their continued support of Sandhurst FC and for sharing our vision for what we can build together.

We can’t wait to get started! 💚💛⚽

Remembering Ethan Treharne & Supporting Brain Tumour Research at the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament.

As we come together this weekend, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August, for the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament to promote the second of our Club charities, we stand proudly in remembrance of Ethan Treharne to help create much-needed awareness for Brain Tumour Research.

Ethan was a brave and sports-loving young man who fought with extraordinary courage and spirit before passing away at the age of 17. The disease, which was a glioblastoma brain tumour, sadly stole his future far too soon, reinforcing why campaigns for better treatment options are so desperately needed.

Our thoughts and deepest support are always with Ethan’s family – Nikki, Justin, and all who knew him. We will never stop remembering his courage, and their ongoing strength and dedication ensure that this tournament continues to raise a loud and proud voice for this critical cause.

Through his story, we proudly support Brain Tumour Research. This tournament allows us to create much-needed awareness and support for better treatment options and, ultimately, a cure for the disease that took Ethan and devastates so many other families.

Get Involved: Head over to the Hope for Ethan gazebo across the weekend to take part in the Tombola and help us raise funds directly towards better brain tumour treatments.

Learn More: To find out more about Brain Tumour Research's vital work to find a cure, visit A New Hope For Ethan's page.

Every kick, cheer, and contribution helps make a difference. Thank you for your continued support!

Remembering Lewis Marsh & Supporting CRY at the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament

As we prepare for our annual pre-season tournament, this gives our Club the chance to create awareness of the two charities we support this weekend, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August, for the Lewis & Ethan Memorial Tournament. The origins of this tournament stand proudly in remembrance of Lewis Marsh.

Lewis was a fit, healthy, and sports-loving young man from Sandhurst who was tragically taken from us just two weeks before his 14th birthday due to an undetected heart condition. In 80% of sudden cardiac deaths in young people, there are no prior symptoms at all, highlighting why early awareness and detection are so crucial.

Our thoughts and deepest support are always with Lewis’s mum, Gill Weston, and the entire Marsh family. Their ongoing strength and dedication ensure that vital awareness remains at the forefront of our community.

Through their story, we proudly support Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). Every week in the UK, 8–10 seemingly fit and healthy young people die from hidden heart conditions. CRY works tirelessly to fund life-saving cardiac screenings and raise essential awareness across the country.

Get Involved: Head over to the CRY gazebo across the weekend to take part in Spin the Wheel and help us raise funds directly towards youth heart screening.

Book a Screening & Learn More: To find out more about CRY’s vital work or to book a cardiac screening, visit www.c-r-y.org.uk.

Every kick, cheer, and contribution helps make a difference. Thank you for your continued support!
