💜⚽️ FROM WHERE IT STARTED… TO WHERE WE ARE NOW ⚽️💜
6 MONTHS. ONE TEAM. SO MUCH PROGRESS. 🖤🤍💜
Six months ago, this little team was only just beginning.
A group of girls learning each other’s names, finding their positions, figuring out how to play together and starting their journey as Beighton Magpies U8 Girls Purple 🥹⚽️
Since then there have been countless training sessions, friendlies, tournaments, first goals, first saves, first tackles, trophies, celebrations, plenty of muddy boots and SO many memories made along the way 💜
But more importantly, they’ve learned to work for each other.
They’ve grown in confidence.
They’ve learned to pass, communicate and battle for every ball.
They’ve picked each other up.
They’ve celebrated each other.
And little by little, they’ve become a TEAM 💪⚽️
On Saturday, all that hard work led to the moment we’ve been working towards…

And watching them step onto that pitch and put everything they’ve learned over the last six months into their football was something pretty special.
The difference from those very first sessions to the team we watched Saturday is HUGE - and every single one of them should be incredibly proud of themselves 🤩
There’s still so much to learn and a whole season ahead of us, but if the last six months are anything to go by, we cannot wait to see where this little team goes next 🚀💜
