Well that went quick! We hope you've all enjoyed your summer so far, hot init!
The players have been turning up the heat too, working hard at training and getting match fit with friendlies but this coming Sunday is the real thing. The start of our serious push for third tier football starts at home when we welcome Chesterfield FC to 'the park'.
The supporters would like to say a huge welcome to Aaliyah Nolan, Sami Brooks, Emily Cattle, Nicole Kemp, Milly Wortley who have put their faith in our club. Also thank you to all the stars who have re-committed to the cause this season. A big farewell to Olivia who switches football for soccer, good luck on your adventure Liv. No other announcements have been made about departures but if there is then good luck to those players for the future.
Exciting times are ahead for the club as the Super Devs have also been busy rebuilding after their amazing last season.
So come on you reds! Get your bums in those seats and create a winning atmosphere for our BARNSLEY! đ

As the sun goes down on another season the first team signed out today with a 1.0 win away at Northampton. The form that we've shown of late and a 4th place finish will encourage Craige and the team for next season.
The Super Devs succumbed to a disappointing defeat at home to Frickley. Despite a fantastic goal by Edgely to bring us back on equal terms the visitors eventually ran out 3.1 winners. We play our last game on Wednesday against Stavely.

Both sides were in action this afternoon.
The first team faced Notts County women in their last home game of the season. It's always a close game when we play them but it seemed a different story in a first half in which we dominated for huge periods. A goal ahead at half time and it seemed only a matter of time before the second came. The second half however saw us pinned back more by an opposition who never gave in, that persistence paid off when they snatched an equaliser in injury time.
The Super Devs visited Rotherham United. On a challenging surface it didn't stop them scoring 5 and coming home with all 3 points.
Well done all đ

Both teams are in action tomorrow at 2pm so take your pick.
The first team play their last home game of the season as they entertain Notts County. This fixture is always well supported by the opposition so if you can get to The Park that would help the girls massively. Craige and the team have worked hard this year and it's been evident of late with some great performances so they'll be hoping for all 3 points to sign off their home campaign.
The Super Devs are away at Rotherham and will be keen to follow up on their convincing victory at Handsworth in the week. That victory showed the teams resilience after the heartbreak of last weekend and sets them up nicely for another 3 points tomorrow.
Good luck all đ

Some posts are easy to write, others are a bit more challenging. Today is the latter.
With the first team not having a game it was down to the Super Devs to make the headlines this weekend. After gaining the easiest 3 points this season on Thursday when Handsworth sadly couldn't raise a team the girls had to be in top form today. There were some notable absences in the starting line-up but that didn't stop us assailing into 3.0 lead thanks to a brace from today's captain. All looked set for us to take the 3 points from a YP Women side we've faced 3 times previously this season. YP however had different plans, hairdryers or not they pulled it together in the second half scoring 4 in 40 minutes and ultimately taking the win. Heartbreak for the girls but a busy schedule means we have to pick ourselves up and go again in the week.
Unlucky today Super Devs đ

Both teams were in action at the weekend and we're extremely proud of them.
The first team travelled to a strong Peterborough United team who hadn't lost all season. The girls made a good account of themselves but couldn't continue their recent winning streak losing to the only goal of the match. For the opposition to name one of their defenders player of the match speaks volumes about our performance.
The Super Devs continued their push for the title with a 1.0 victory over Sheffield United, it could well have been more but at this time of the season the points are crucial. That said on Thursday the girls take on Handsworth at the start of a gruelling run-in of 6 games in 17 days! Rob and the team have their work cut out keeping the team fit but we don't call them Super Devs for nothing! Good luck!
