Colombia remains undefeated with 3 wins and leads the table with 6 points, demonstrating strength and resilience against demanding rivals.

The Netherlands also add 6 points and stand out for their demolishing attack: 221 tries scored!

New Zealand take 3rd place with 2 wins and the most solid defence of the tournament (only 95 tries received).

Switzerland stays competitive with 2 wins and great offensive capacity.

Argentina and πŸ‡¨πŸ‡± Chile are still looking for their first victory, but they show dedication and passion in every match.

Day 1 of the qualifiers was full of passion and resilience. New Zealand impressed with their iconic Haka and powerful start, while Argentina showed South American grit, fighting with determination until the end. Colombia thrilled the home crowd with courage and persistence, sealing a dramatic overtime victory. The Netherlands stood out with tactical discipline and composure, turning games around under pressure. Switzerland displayed dominance, and Chile fought with heart, leaving a mark with their determination. It was a day of respect, rivalry, and unforgettable moments.

World Wheelchair Rugby is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Christopher White as its new Chief Medical Officer.

Dr White is Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, followed by specialist training in Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
