Flexi 7βs West Division β Top of the Table Clash
Friday night in the Steel City and a huge clash at the top of the table π₯
It was a hard-fought battle all over the pitch with every player giving absolutely everything. Both sides created chances early on, with the goalkeepers being called into action and several shots just missing the target.
The Arrows finally broke the deadlock when Amy delivered a dangerous ball across the goal and George was there to slot home and make it 1β0 to the Arrows β½π
Killamarsh kept pushing and right at the end of the first half their quick counterattack paid off as they grabbed an equaliser with the last kick of the half.
The second half continued to be a battle, but sustained pressure from the Arrows eventually paid off. Captain Lauren reacted quickest to a loose ball and calmly finished to restore the lead and make it 2β1 π«‘β½
The Arrows dug deep to see the game out and secure a massive three points, sending them back to the top of the league with a healthy goal difference ππ
