Captains Assignment-Understood

We are delighted to announce our Captain and Vice Captain for the upcoming season.

Bean Clarke retains the armband for a further season and will look to lead from the back in her 6th Season for the club, making over 130 appearances for the club so far.

Alongside her as Vice Captain will be Ocean Rolandsen, who will support on and off the pitch.

Ocean made an instant impact last season, scooping both the Managers’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards.

Our prices are frozen, with Adults £5 and Kids £2.

Burton steps up

We are delighted to announce that Alesha Burton has committed to the Reds for the upcoming season.

The tough tackling youngster had a breakthrough season for The Reds last time out, playing for the first team three times after impressing for the development team.

Barnsley Women's Football Club is looking for a passionate and organised Volunteer Matchday Mascot Co-ordinator to help create unforgettable matchday experiences for our young supporters.

As our Matchday Mascot Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring every mascot has a memorable day with the Reds. From welcoming families on arrival to coordinating player walkouts and photo opportunities, you'll help create magical moments that inspire the next generation of football fans.

⚽ The role includes:�• Coordinating the matchday mascot experience at home games�• Communicating with mascot families before and on matchday�• Ensuring mascots are ready for player walkouts and photos�• Working alongside our media and matchday volunteers to deliver a first-class experience ❤️

We're looking for someone who is:�
• Friendly, organised and reliable�
• Confident working with children and families�
• Passionate about women's football and community engagement�

• Available to volunteer at our home fixtures (minimum 12 for the season)

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the Barnsley Women family, gain valuable experience, and help make every home match even more special.

Milly makes the move.....

We are delighted to announce the signing of Milly Wortley.

Milly joins us having most recently captaining Loughborough Foxes, where last season she was Golden Boot winner in the East Midlands Premier Division and Players Player’ of the Year, narrowly missing out promotion to Chesterfield by one point.

She has been with us most of pre-season and we are delighted she has agreed to join us!!
