Being 0-1 down at halftime the lads had it all to do and did it in style coming out victorious with a 4-1 win

Back to winning ways this week after a disappointing narrow loss last week to a rival team.
We faced a team today who were 1 point behind us, with a direct approach we had to be mindful of the conditions. We took a 2-1 lead in to half time which was well deserved being preservative with our approach. We continued the tempo into the second half by gaining a 2 goal deficit then allowing the opponents back in to the game. The game finished 4-3 to Elsie’s and deserved to bring home the 3 points

Hard fought win!

After being 1-0 down in the first half the lads showed their class and character to take a 3-1 lead however ravenfield showed spirit to bring it back to 3-2 with just under 10 minutes to play, we held out for all 3 points in the end

Dominant performance and our best performance since we started!

We were away against a team that are 3rd in league and knew it would be a tough place to grab all 3 points, throughout the game we dictated and controlled the game with fast flowing football, a few early chances came and went and left us scratching our heads thinking could it be 1 of those games. We took a 3-0 lead (35 yard screamer from Alex Newton) we allowed the opposition back in to the game before half time with the score 3-1

Second half we made multiple substitutes but that didn’t effect the way we played and how we dictated the game. By scoring 4 in the second half ensured we hadn’t took the foot off the gas.

Great return to league action!

For the first time since November we had a football game that wasn’t postponed or cancelled due to cup games.

The lads got off to a great start in the first half taking a 3-0 lead, we continued that into the second half taking all 3 points with a comfortable 5-1 victory
