Handsworth Reserves 3β3 Ecclesfield Red Rose π β«
Match Report
First Half: Dream Start
The Ambers flew out the blocks Alfie Ross opened the scoring early, then Josh McKenna struck twice to make it 3-0 inside 30 minutes! Ecclesfield hit back with a stunning edge-of-the-box wonder goal to leave it 3-1 at the break.
Second Half: Controversy & Drama
Early in the second half, our keeper was sent off still no clear explanation given (denying a goalscoring opportunity vs suspected handball outside the box). Down to 10 men, it was backs-to-the-wall.
Ecclesfield pulled one back with a free kick, then were awarded a penalty but Jenson Walsh, our stand-in keeper, saved it! Sadly they found the net in the 90+3rd minute to level it at 3-3.
π MAN OF THE MATCH: Jenson Walsh incredible performance, stepped up between the sticks, saved a penalty and made some cracking stops. Absolute warrior!
