PRINCESS ROYAL FC 2-3 SHEPLEY SPITFIRE

With a lot of lads missing this Sunday, the Royal was left with a small squad. We found ourselves 1-0 up thanks to a penalty from Mat. However, Shepley soon found a leveller. The Royal managed to win themselves another penalty which was coolly converted into the corner by Harrison! Shepley found a leveller once again, with James injuring his shoulder during this, meaning a change of keeper! Shepley then found a winner. Massive credit to the lads who turned up, they all gave 100%. Onto Tuesdays game, UTR!!!

PRINCESS ROYAL FC 2-2 SHEFFIELD PHOENIX

The Royal played their first game of 3 in 5 days! We started the first half strong, with Mat putting us 1-0 with a good left footed finish from a corner. Sheffield Phoenix responded just after half time. The Royal didn’t let their heads drop and continued to work hard to find another goal. This eventually came from another corner, solid header from Charlie! Late on in the game, Sheffield Phoenix found a leveller which meant the points were shared on the night. A good team performance which we will hopefully carry on into the next game! UTR!!

PRINCESS ROYAL FC 4-3 AFC SHEFFIELD

On the back of two narrow losses the Royal needed to pick up a result today, and that is exactly what they did. Despite having players drop out last minute and a very sparse squad, the lads dug in and made sure we came out with 3 points! No game next Sunday so hopefully a few injured lads can return for our next league game. Massive shoutout to Mat with an impressive 4 goals, well done skipper! UTR!!!

AG ATHLETIC 1-0 PRINCESS ROYAL FC

Today the Royal played in form AG Atheltic and looked to build on our great performance from last week. The team showed some amazing defensive displays, with both teams struggling to find the back of the net. AG Athletic scored not long after half time and unfortunately the Royal could not find a response. A great performance just not the result we was looking for! On to next week, UTR!

PRINCESS ROYAL FC 7-0 RIVERSIDE FC

After a few weeks without a game the Royal finally returned to football and what a performance they put on! A brilliant start saw us take an early lead and from this we controlled the game. Both teams were short on numbers meaning our gaffer and assistant had to go on the bench. Luckily they weren’t needed as the lads we had gave 100%. Everyone put in a great performance, shout out to Jay and Mat who both scored a hattrick! UTR!!!
