💙🖤 Tournament Day at Wombwell! 🖤💙

A brilliant day out for our Ridgeway Lionesses at the Wombwell Town tournament! ⚽🦁

The girls worked incredibly hard throughout the day, finishing 2nd in our group before reaching the semi-finals, where our tournament came to an end. Every single player gave everything for the team, showed great effort, supported each other and represented Ridgeway Lionesses with pride. We're so proud of them all! 👏💙

Days like today are about much more than results – they're about learning, developing, making memories and enjoying football together. Another great experience for this fantastic group of girls. 💪

A huge thank you to Wombwell Town Fc for hosting a well-organised tournament. We really appreciate all the hard work that goes into putting on an event like this, and we had a great day.

🦁💙 Some of our Lionesses have been out exploring the amazing Pride of Yorkshire trail and enjoying the fantastic lion sculptures across South Yorkshire.

It’s great to see our girls and their families getting involved in such a brilliant community event while helping to celebrate 150 years of Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
