Friendly game against Greasbrough Youth U9 Blacks a team we've played a few times now and it's always a great match. Thanks for hosting us and good luck for next season!

What a game it was – end to end with some fantastic skill, teamwork and determination from both sides throughout the game.

A special shoutout to Zak, our man of the match, who scored four goals and fantastic players throughout the game.

☀️ Match Report | Friendly ⚽🖤💙

A tough game in the heat today, but every single one of the lads gave absolutely everything! 👏

Caleb, Harry, Stanley, Zak, Rudi, Ezra and Jude all played their hearts out against a very good side. 💪🔥

We saw some really positive passing and movement throughout the game, although at times we were a little slow to react and follow the flow of the ball. Plenty to learn from, and that’s exactly what friendlies are for. ⚽

🧤 Caleb pulled off some fantastic saves to keep us in the game.

🛡️ Harry and Stanley were solid at the back all game, with Stanley even having a spell up front and giving the opposition something different to think about! 👏

⚡ Up front and on the wings, Zak, Jude, Rudi and Ezra battled tirelessly, worked hard for each other and never stopped trying.

It wasn’t our day today, but there were lots of positives to take away against strong opposition. We’ll keep working hard, keep improving and be ready for the next one. 💙🖤

🏆 Player of the Match – Stanley 🏆

A brilliant all-round performance from Stanley today! 💙 He was rock solid in defence, making some excellent tackles and showing great composure on the ball. He then stepped up to have a go at striker, worked tirelessly for the team, and capped off his performance with a well-deserved goal. ⚽ His versatility, effort and positive attitude were outstanding from start to finish. A fantastic display—well done, Stanley! 👏🌟

⚽️ Pre-Season Friendly 💙🖤

A great pre-season game against strong opposition, with plenty of positives to take into the new season. We were missing Jude today, but the squad put in a fantastic team performance. 👏

Rudi captained the side, with Caleb, Harry, Zak, Rudi and Max starting the match. Caleb made several important saves throughout, while the defence worked hard with some excellent marking. 🧤 Harry was solid in the tackle all game, Zak put in a tireless shift, and Rudi led by example with some great passing, movement and composure on the ball. Max was always a threat, going close with a free-kick before later getting on the scoresheet from a corner. ⚽

The substitutes all made a real impact. Ez showed brilliant control and drove the team forward, linking up well with Max for an early chance. Rueben was strong down the line to win a corner and impressed with his movement, effort and determined tackling throughout. Stanley was excellent at the back, then had a go up front, where he grabbed a well-deserved goal to cap off a brilliant all-round performance. 💪⚽

There were chances at both ends, with Caleb producing more fine saves and efforts coming from Max, Rudi, Zak and Stanley. Rudi’s touch and movement continued to create openings, while the whole team showed great determination from start to finish. 🔥
