Steel Valley Darts Series

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the Steel Valley Series.

With the World Cup fixtures, summer holidays and a number of other commitments affecting player availability, we feel it’s the right decision rather than trying to continue with reduced numbers.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported the series this year. Whether you’ve played in every event or just joined us for one, your support has been greatly appreciated. We’ve enjoyed some fantastic darts, great sportsmanship and a brilliant atmosphere throughout.

This isn’t goodbye—just a pause. We’ll take some time to review things and look at the best way forward for future events.

Thank you once again to everyone who has supported the Steel Valley Series. We hope to see you all at the oche again soon. 🎯

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for what turned out to be our final Friday night Vault Darts event.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we won’t be continuing with our Friday night sessions. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported these events over the past months. Your support, sportsmanship, and the brilliant atmosphere you’ve helped create have been greatly appreciated.

As always, the darts were played in great spirit, with plenty of quality matches, laughs, and respect shown throughout the evening. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our Friday nights—we’ve made some fantastic memories together.

Although our numbers were a little lower than usual due to holidays and other events taking place, it was still a fantastic day of darts. The smaller field gave us extended games, a brilliant atmosphere, and plenty of quality matches throughout the day.

A huge congratulations to Adam Burbeary, who took the Event 6 title. Adam has been knocking on the door since our very first event, consistently finding himself at the business end of tournaments, and it was great to see his persistence rewarded with a well-deserved victory.

Well done also to our runner-up, Ellis Hadfield, who has been making finals appearances since joining us and continues to impress with his performances.

The younger players are producing some outstanding darts at the moment, leaving us older players searching for the enthusiasm and desire of years gone by! It really is an addictive game, and the future looks very bright.

🎯 Finlay Barton (15 years old) – playing in the series for the first time and narrowly missing out on the semi-finals on leg difference. A fantastic achievement and undoubtedly one to watch for the future.

It’s been a brilliant series so far with some top darts, great moments, and plenty of new faces stepping up to the oche. Event 6 is shaping up to be another strong night and a great chance for players to push on, pick up points, and finish the series on a high.

Whether you’re chasing the win, aiming for a deep run, or just coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, this is what Steel Valley is all about — good darts, good people, and a proper competitive night.

What a fantastic way to bring the curtain down on Vault 17, with another brilliant turnout and some excellent darts throughout the night.

A huge congratulations to Alex Jacques, who claimed his third Vault title of the series, capping off an impressive run in Vault 17.

Special mention also goes to Damian Corr, who made the final on his very first appearance with us. A fantastic debut and hopefully the first of many visits.

We welcomed several new players through the doors last night, and we’d like to thank each and every one of you for coming along and supporting the event. We hope you enjoyed the evening and look forward to seeing you again soon.

To our regular players, thank you for your continued support throughout the series. Building these events wouldn’t be possible without your commitment week after week.

A total of 24 players entered, with 22 taking to the oche on the night, producing another great evening of competitive darts and good company.

🎯 A special mention also goes to Alexander Gledhill, who picked up the players’ Highest Checkout Pot with a superb 97 finish.

For those who don’t know, the checkout pot is an optional £1 side competition, so the winning checkout isn’t always the highest finish of the night overall—it simply goes to the highest checkout among those who entered the pot.

What makes Alexander’s achievement even more impressive is that he’s only been playing darts for a short time. It’s great to see newer players improving, competing, and enjoying success. Long may the progress continue—well done, Alexander! 👏
