ANNOUNCEMENT: we can confirm that round 2 of the Stephen Fox Memorial football game will be taking place on Friday 25th September at Shefford Football Club with a 7.30pm kick off. Current and ex staff all heavily involved with team sheets coming out very soon. If any local families or businesses have any interest in sponsoring the event, please contact [email protected].

The club sends it's best wishes and thoughts and prayers to 'The Voice of Shefford' Sir Alan Williams.

Alan has been our match day announcer and club committee member for a few years now, he has sponsored many players in his time with the club and is a big part of who we are.

He was today found by some of our club committee members in his home and has been taken to hospital. Our prayers and wishes are with him and his family.

A huge thanks to the Police, Ambulance and Fire service who all responded, his neighbours who all rallied around and to ex committee member Lasse Hammer who helped raise the initial alert and was one of the first on scene.

Alan you are one of our own and we wish you all the strength and prayer you need to get well as quickly as possible.
