For the clients I work with whether in person or online, it's about working with the whole body, working on the weaknesses, overcoming challenges they are facing whether from injury or underlying health conditions, improving mobility or just getting some headspace and building a stronger more resilient and functional mind and body.

I have some spaces remaining in my online coaching and in small group training available.

Garfield is an inspiration of what is truly possible when we don't put limits on what our body can do.

You're never to old to start strength training

Life is often composed of lots of important dates in the calendar...

The birthdays, anniversaries, the events you plan to attend, the holidays, the births and the medical appointments and rarely do they hold quite as much significance as when you lose someone and even though life goes on, subconsciously certain dates are etched as a reminder of someone who meant the world to you.

And life does go on and I believe making the most of the life you have is precisely what the person you lost would want you to do and that doesn't mean you can't be sad or grieve or rant or be angry, but I hope you still look for the small things that make life beautiful especially on those greyer days

It would have been my dad's birthday 2 days ago. I put off sharing this as a post as I kind of thought is anyone really going to care. But then I thought, if someone else has gone through the loss of someone special in their life I hope they know they are not alone and that if they're ever struggling to talk to someone.

Don't ever feel you have to face things on your own.
Because there are people who love you and who will be there for you for as long as you need. ❤️

Too old, too weak, struggling with steps or the staircase, just been told you have osteoporosis or that you have severe muscle mass wastage...

It's not too late to turn things around

I regularly work with clients in their 50s, 60s and 70s and see the massive impact strength training has as a physical and mental outcome for them in their daily lives

You can choose a life relying ln bathroom aids and support from carers or you can choose the freedom to do all the things you only dreamed of doing by implementing a specific strength training programme designed for you

Stop accepting that age is your excuse and see age as an opportunity to keep learning, growing muscle and bone strength and becoming your strongest most independent self.

"Ci******es and coffee for Breakfast"

When George started working with me, she just wanted to get stronger bones but what she really wanted was to actually learn how to get stronger for her day to day life and learn how to fuel her body properly.

Within 4 months we had already nailed the foundations of those big lifts from squats to deadlifts and implemented some manageable nutritional habits

And now a further 6mths down the line my "ci******es and coffee for breakfast" lady has learnt why fueling herself properly makes all the difference in her energy levels and training as well as being able to bang out 10 full press ups with ease 💪

How did we make those changes?

🏋‍♂️I Ibuilt a strong foundational base of training with home workouts to support her muscle growth
💪I implemented small daily habits to rewire her approach to incorporating training in her day to day
💧I introduced her to making swaps with her coffee, tea, wine whilst still being able to enjoy those things but on a more hydrating and balanced way
💤I built out a bedtime routine to help her manage recovery and stress better

But the best part

She's super proud of herself for staying consistent, enjoying exercise something she had never thought was for her and noticing how much of an impact it has on her day to day life, happiness and confidence

And THAT is the bit I care about most

Because you don't need another plan that helps you lose 3kg in 6 weeks and look shredded only to leave you back where you started

You need a way of implementing a training plan that works around your life for the long term with results that are sustainable.

So if you are currently struggling with poor physical health, chronic pain or injury
And you actually just want to feel strong, move better an more confident in your body and mind.

DM me READY and I'll show you how you can achieve this.

I almost didn't post the photo....

I have been training for over 20 years, the pay off didnt happen overnight. It was with every good, bad and indifferent day of training.

It was with what I chose to consume that would impact my body confidence as well as the ability to lift a lot of weight.

It wasn't about perfection.
It wasn't about never eating the yummy things.
It wasn't about never socialising.

The "best" shape I ever got in was because
I was consistency training 100% of the time
Tracking my food 100% of the time
Getting good sleep, journalling, yoga, breathwork...

Do I do this all the time....absolutely not....because I want to have a life that means I may not be shredded but I know I am healthier for it and fitter and stronger than 95% of the population who have never stepped foot into a gym or lifted a weight at home.

And I know that is possible for you too.

Imagine seeing the inches drop off and not look at a bloody scale.
Seeing definition in your arms and legs
Wearing the dress / the suit because you feel fu***ng amazing
Being able to press or pull your own bodyweight

That's what my clients achieve, despite their busy lives and I actively promote them because I am so proud of what they have overcome and can now do.

If you are already on your fitness journey tell me one (or many) things that you are proud of being able to do now (at home, work or in the gym)

If you are just starting out and need help drop me a message with READY to have a chat about how I cam help you become tour strongest most confident self

✨️Skipping to the workout and then getting injured, not lifting as much as you'd hoped or simply noticing your every day movement is becoming impeded by lack of mobility?

Whatever the reason, as you get older, you notice how your body isn't "getting away with it" like it once did.

These mobility moves are great, not just for the gym but for that morning routine when you just need to release and open up your hips, knees and ankles.

They will help you find greater range of motion, whether in your squats and deadlifts and in turn deliver greater gains in your training or whilst cramming yourself into small spaces at work or weeding out the garden.

Knowing that your mobility training is for all round benefit to every part of life, has to be something to start incorporating.
