Hi guys. A while since I’ve posted but wanted to do a slightly different post a bit unrelated to my services however, still something very much worth highlighting the importance of with warmer weather coming throughout the summer. After a recent incident that resulted in me having to have scans and tests due to a pretty nasty whack to the head, I wanted to share some of the advice I should’ve followed more closely. Please KEEP HYDRATED during the hot weather especially when playing sports or having a busy day. I’d had a busy day involving work and playing padel which just seemed like a normal day. I’d gone to the pub to watch the England game and had one drink. I then started to feel unwell really quickly and next thing I knew I was flat out on my back and realised I’d passed out resulting in a huge lump on my head. I was told I was lucky as it could’ve been so much worse but it was a reminder to myself to follow the advice we’re given and as a medical professional I wanted to reiterate that advice to everyone as I never thought something like that would happen to me but with a family and loved ones, I came close to causing a major scare for them. Please drink plenty of water and get rest during the days when warmer temperatures are here. Stay safe and make sure you are able to get home to watch England bring it home 🤞🤣.
Thanks for everyone’s continued support.
Adam
