Big well done to Benny Howes yesterday, after 5 years out of the boxing ring he made his return, jumping straight in at the deep end on a weeks notice and on one of the biggest shows in the country, fighting in front of over three thousand people at Mansfield Football Ground against Ciaran Mckenna, a very good, active boxer and they went to war from the first bell to the last, Cairan got the decision but it could have gone either way, Benny never got the decision but to put on a performance like that against a fighter of that calibre after a 5 year lay off with just a few weeks back in the gym shows hes still got it, he's shaken off the ring rust and proven himself to be a big problem for anyone on the circuit, thankyou to everyone at Kings and Queens Boxing Club for all your help getting Benny ready for yesterday, we are all very proud of him and he should be proud of himself after tonight, he could have easily took an easy fight or fought a journeyman like a lot of people do but he didn't, he jumped in at a high level and proved he deserves to be there, he is an absolute warrior, his skill set is unreal, he just needs a bit more work on his cardio and he will be unstoppable on the unlicensed scene 👊

Well done to Danny Suter last night, fighting on Ashton Promotions in Nottingham, Danny stuck to his boxing skills this time around, instead of his usual style of turning every fight into a war and it worked wonders, he outboxed Tom Harrison for the full 3 rounds for a clear points victory, thank you to absolutely everyone at Kings and Queens Boxing Club for all the help leading up to the fight, from the beginners to the advanced boxers, every single one of you played a part in last night's victory, thank you to Ashley Davies of Queensbury Boxing & Fitness for all your help and an extra special thank you to Luke Merrifield, Jay Herbert and Dana for the preparation and corner work and everything behind the scenes, thank you to Ashton Promotions for having us and thank you to Tom Harrison for the fight, it takes two to tango and we wish all the best for Tom's future 👊
