We train on a Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, with the season starting on Wednesday 6th May. Even if you can’t make it every week, you are still very welcome to come along.

Our ARCC Ladies Raptors have had another great season, taking part in a number of festivals, against lots of other local softball teams.

This season they have managed to secure sponsorship with the Amazing Genren UK, who assisted with the purchase of snazzy new team shirts.

Genren are locally based renewable energy experts. They specialise in the design, installation, monitoring & maintenance of renewable energy technologies for homes and businesses, helping you harness the power of clean energy to reduce your carbon footprint, save on energy costs and monetise your energy production. The products they have on offer include;

Genren have also recently been awarded the Silver Award in the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme for their ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant. This recognition reflects their dedication to supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and their families.

This year saw Acton Reynald build on their popular All Stars and Dynamos programmes by entering an Under 11 team into Shropshire Cricket Board’s Incrediball league. The squad was formed of 13 players from Clive, Grinshill and surrounding villages. The vast majority were complete novices and their efforts through a Summer of training and playing were rewarded by being crowned Champions of the North Central division, having faced some stiff opposition from Pontesbury and Column Cricket Clubs!

A huge well done to all the players and a massive thank you to Ian and Nick for all the time and effort put into coaching and organising the League this year. We can’t wait to see what successes next year brings!

It’s all systems go at the grounds tonight. Nets underway and pitches being marked up for the Raptors’ friendly against Bomere this Wednesday evening and the Juniors Incrediball league home fixtures. 🏏🏆

Today, May 8th, marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.

We join nations across the world in remembering the immense courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who served and contributed to the end of World War II in Europe. Their bravery secured the peace and freedoms we cherish today.
