We are making Pengwern Boat Club more accessible!
We are raising £15,000 to purchase and install an accessibility lift to the first floor of our clubhouse to allow our adaptive rowers socialise, and use facilities they would otherwise not be able to access.

What an excellent weekend at Ironbridge Regatta 2026! A total of 9 event wins for Pengwern! Well done to everyone that rowed! Thank you to Ironbridge Rowing Club for hosting yet another unforgettable weekend. We can't wait to be back next year!

What an incredible weekend for Pengwern! We have had a busy weekend with out club split. Some crews raced at Bridgnorth Rowing Club whilst others competed at the British Rowing Masters' Championships.
Pengwern brought home an astonishing 53 pieces of silverware! This includes 40 pots from Bridgnorth, and 13 medals from British Rowing Masters'! A very successful weekend. Well done to everyone who competed and thank you to the hosts of these events.
What a great regatta! The 2026 JTHughes Shrewsbury Regatta has unfortunately to come to an end. Entries were once again, completely full! Over 400 races happened over the 2 days and thousands of people came along to support throughout! Thank you to all members at Pengwern Boat Club for helping to set this up. Countless hours of planning has gone on behind the scenes!

Last weekend, some of our Senior and Master Rowers attended a training camp at Upper Thames Rowing Club . Thanks to them for allowing us to visit. It was a great weekend!

Today at Pengwern, we had the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire visit us to officially re-open our renovated boat bays which was then followed by the Lord-Lieutenant having a go at some rowing with some members of the club! After members were catered by Shrewsbury Food Hub.
