It’s made me care about the right things.
More laughter.
More comfort.
More confidence.
More saying yes.
Less shrinking.
Less apologising.
Less chasing impossible standards.
And honestly? That’s one of the best parts of being 58.

Most people think successful people just have more discipline.
But goals are rarely achieved through willpower alone.
You need:
✔ A goal that feels achievable
✔ A timeline that creates momentum
✔ Action taken consistently
✔ Accountability when self-doubt creeps in
✔️ Self belief not limiting beliefs
Because lasting change isn’t about forcing yourself harder.
It’s about creating the right structure to support success.

But here’s something to gently consider:
What if you didn’t have to wait until the end of the week to feel that way?
What if you could create small moments of safety, calm, and space throughout your week?

Today is my sister’s birthday.
Over the years I’ve realised these days don’t follow a pattern.
Some feel manageable.
Some catch you off guard.
Some are loud with memory.
Some are quietly heavy.
I’ve stopped trying to “do it right.”
Instead, I ask myself what I need this year.
Connection?
Space?
Distraction?
Stillness?
Grief shifts. So we’re allowed to shift with it.
If today is a hard date for you too, I hope you give yourself permission to move through it in the way that feels most supportive.
Not the way others expect.
Not the way you handled it last year.
Just the way that feels right now.
There’s no correct way.
Only your way. 🤍
