Day 5…

On our last day in Crunchem hall we had so much fun. We…

•Played drama games
•Completed a dance warm up & stretch
•Cleaned both our dance routine & song
•Learnt and staged the finale
•Went through all scenes and worked on staging and projecting our voices.
•Completed a full dress rehearsal of our performance
•And then it was SHOWTIME🌟🌟🌟

A huge congratulations to every member of our Matilda workshop. You were all fabulous and what you achieved in only week was inspiring💫

A huge well done to every single cast member of Matilda! We are so proud of every child who performed today. Your commitment to the performance was inspirational and what you have achieved in only one week is AMAZING!

Day 3 & 4…

We have had the best two days in Crunchem Hall. We…

•Played warm up games
•Finished ‘Revolting Children’ dance routine
•Finished ‘Miracle’ song/dance
•Learnt our song ‘When I grow up’ and staged it.
•A small group of our older children worked together to write their own scene to add to our performance.
•Finished staging the scenes and ran the script from the top. The children have spent time learning their lines and acting out the scenes off script
•We then ran the full show with all props
•Crafted art work for Miss Honeys classroom
•Played summer games inside as the rain hit just as we were about to go out!

We cannot wait to see you all for Day 5🌟

TOMORROW IS SHOW DAY. We cannot wait to show you all everything we have been working on💫

Day 1 & 2…

We have had so much fun the past two days in Crunchem hall. We…

•Started with drama games
•Completed a dance warm up & learnt half of our dance choreography
•Learn’t and undertook a light audition process for roles played in Matilda
•Handed out parts and did a full read through of our script
•Staged scenes 1-7 of the acting groups and learnt as many lines as possible
•Learn’t one of two of our song’s and staged it.
•Crafted lots and lots or props
•Had lots of fun playing summer games outside

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow for DAY 3 🌟

This workshop includes dancing, singing, and acting, drama games, arts and crafts, prop and scenery crafting and a costumed performance of 'MATILDA' to finish our fun filled five days. We will also make use of the outdoor space, incorporating lots of Summer games. The children will receive a personalised certificate at the end of the performance.

A DAY OF DANCE💜

Day 2…

We had the BEST day today learning a variety of dance styles. Today we…

•Played warm up games
•Completed a dance warm up and stretch session
•Learnt and pieced together a LYRICAL dance
•Designed and crafted our own posters for our dance show
•Designed and crated Easter tree decorations
•Cleaned all 3 styles of dance
•Completed a full run through of our show
•And then it was SHOWTIME⭐️⭐️⭐️

A huge well done to everyone who performed in our dance showcase on Wednesday. You are all SUPERSTARS🌟

A DAY OF DANCE💜

Day 1…

We had the BEST day today learning a variety of dance styles & having lots of EASTER FUN🐣

Today we…

•Played warm up games
•Completed a dance warm up and stretch session
•Learnt and pieced together a JAZZ dance
•Learnt most of our STREET dance
•Started to design our own SHOW POSTERS
•Designed and crafted our own Easter eggs and Easter bags for the EASTER EGG HUNT
•Completed a super fun EASTER EGG HUNT

We are all excited for DAY 2 tomorrow🌟

Day 2…

We had the best day today. We…

•Played a drama game to begin our day
•Completed a singing warm up and finished rehearsing and staging our song
•Staged and rehearsed the remaining scenes
•The children worked very hard in groups to learn lines
•Completed lots of fun craft activities
•Rehearsed and cleaned out dance
•Completed a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL
•And then it was SHOWTIME🌟🌟🌟
