Both teams and spectators observed a minutes silence in respect of The Queen today.

What a start to the season.

We kicked of our 22/23 season at home against Nettleham, both teams gave a good game. It was just the right amount of tension you want in grassroots! The ball was backwards and forwards and our under 12โ€™s battled hard in attack and defence.

Man of the match could have gone to a variety of players, Jaxon for his 2 goals, Marcus for his hard work all over the pitch.

But this week Jenson took home the trophy for 60 minutes of hard work, head in the game football.

Well done Jenson ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

Our under 11s are off on the road this weekend, heading over to Birchwood Colts JFC Sunday lunchtime.

Letโ€™s try that again. I got the wrong kick off time. (Many thanks to the eagle eyed parent who was straight on it!)

Our under 12โ€™s kick off their season this weekend, we welcome Nettleham Football Club for a 10.30 kick off this Sunday.

A pair of childrens glasses were found after tonightโ€™s training session. If they belong to your child pop us a DM.

The FA has announced the postponement of all football this weekend from grassroots to Premier League as a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the Royal Family during this time.

We will update teams as and when we know what will happen with new dates etc.

We join the country in sending our thoughts to The Royal Family at this sad time.

May you Rest In Peace, Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

First game of the seasonโ€ฆDONE!

A well deserved win for our under 11โ€™s. The hard work they put in was reflected in the scoreline.

No training for our Under 11โ€™s or Under 12โ€™s tonight, obviously the weather is very hot today and with limited shaded space on the field we donโ€™t want to put anyone at risk.

Coaches will be in touch with any rearranged dates, thank you for understanding.

Itโ€™s time to start some pre season friendlies.

Thursday sees us travel back over to our old friends at Skegness Imps FC. Itโ€™s our first pre season game under Burgh Athletic and all support would be greatly received.
