When you’re a coach, you get to see the development and progression of players. Having coached a lot of girls over the years you gain an understanding on how to get best out of the girls and sometimes this can mean changing how they play and adapting their style of play. It’s important this is backed by gaining the support of the players parents and working together.

Emeila has been working with me and TM Development for over a year and she has been working so hard for me and her other teams. We set a goal together to get her ready for West Lancashire trials, she was successful in being selected for this season’s squad. Her progress has continued and she has joined me at Preston North End U12. Over the last 6-8 weeks she has gone from strength to strength and everyone is starting to see the ability she has. She has stepped up with performances for TM Development v Liverpool U12 and looked comfortable at that level.

I am really excited to watch her development continue! Well done on all your hard work mate!
