Not the result we were hoping for but some vital minutes in the tank for goal scoring machine Jae Smith (pictured).

A new manager and with players in and players out, a fresh challenge for the lads.

Our first league game is this Saturday at home to Sharpness thirds.

The lads absolutely smashed Matt Birds 22 man strong squad of Dursley players from past present and future.

I missed the first half in police interview apparently, but Louis Polkinghorne’s absolute bullet header was too much for the 8 Dursley players on the goal line and I think that was 1-1.

Anyway second half much more important.
