Three years ago, .i.c wasn’t an organisation.

It wasn’t a charity.
It wasn’t a movement.
It was simply me and a group of recovering humans lacing up our boots, heading into the hills, and supporting one another one step at a time.

We started with a shared belief that healing happens in connection with nature, with others, and with ourselves.

Today, HIKE2HEAL RECOVERY is reaching more people than I ever imagined possible.

I am incredibly proud and deeply grateful to share that we have been awarded Community Funding Awards for All to support our work.

This funding is a huge milestone for HIKE2HEAL RECOVERY. It represents recognition of the hard work, determination, and passion that has gone into building this community from the ground up.

What began as a small group of people walking together has grown into a powerful movement of hope, healing, and belonging for people recovering from addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

This award will allow us to reach even more people, provide more opportunities for connection and recovery, and continue changing lives through the healing power of nature and community.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, donor, and participant who has believed in this vision and helped make it possible.

This recognition belongs to all of us.

And this is only the beginning.

With gratitude Hike2Heal Recovery and ME! đŸ™‹â€â™€ïž

There’s something quietly powerful about a neighbourhood that feels alive.

Kids still in their pyjamas, barefoot on warm pavement, sticky hands from slices of watermelon, laughter echoing down the street as the sun lingers a little longer.

No rush
No pressure
Just presence.

In a world that’s become so fast and disconnected, these small moments remind us what really matters.

Not perfection
Not status

but belonging.
Safety.
Familiar faces.

The feeling that someone would notice if you weren’t there.

Community isn’t built in big, dramatic gestures.

It’s in the everyday shared smiles, open doors, kids playing together until the streetlights come on.

Maybe that’s the real wealth in life
not what we have, but who we have around us.

No matter how old he gets, I’ll always be his safe place 💙

The world can be loud and overwhelming, but right here

this is home

A place where he can rest, feel held, and just be himself without needing to say a word.

Watching him grow is the greatest gift, but moments like this remind me that no matter how big he gets, he’ll always come back to this

and I’ll always be here waiting with open arms.

My boy. My heart. Always 💙

Happy 30th Birthday ⭐

Wishing you so much love and luck today and always đŸ“â™„ïž

Your mum would be so incredibly proud of the woman you’ve become and everything you’ve accomplished and overcome along the way.

You’ve grown into someone with such integrity, strength, and beauty.

Always remember who you are and how many people love you and are cheering you on.

I Am Who I Say I Am đŸ”„

For a long time, I wasn’t.

I was who my addiction told me I was.
Who my shame told me I was.
Who my past told me I would always be.

Broken.
Too much.
Not enough.
Unreliable.
Lost.

But recovery changes more than behaviour it rebuilds identity.

Today, I am who I say I am. đŸ”„

When I say I’m in recovery, I mean I protect my peace daily.

When I say I’m a mother, I mean I show up, consistently and present.

When I say I lead HIKE2HEAL RECOVERY, I mean I walk beside people as they find their strength again.

When I say I empowering women, I mean I hold space for women who are ready to stop surviving and start becoming.

I coach women because I know what it feels like to lose yourself.
I know what it takes to rebuild from rock bottom.
And I know the power of a woman who decides she is no longer available for chaos.

I don’t borrow strength anymore.
I don’t perform for acceptance.
I don’t shrink to fit.

I am honest.
I am accountable.
I am resilient.
I am still growing.

And the most powerful part?

My child has only ever known this version of me.
The woman who kept going.
The woman who chose healing.
The woman who became who she said she would be.

I am who I say I am đŸ”„

Not because I shout it loudly

But because I live it quietly, daily, consistently.

And if you’re reading this and something in you is stirring

If you’re tired of repeating cycles

If you’re ready to stop abandoning yourself

This is your sign. đŸ«¶âïžđŸ“

I work with women who are ready to take responsibility for their healing, their standards, their boundaries, and their future.

If you’re done surviving and ready to become the woman you keep promising yourself you’ll be

Message me.

Let’s build her. 💛

People will talk about you.

They’ll question your motives.
They’ll rewrite your story.
They’ll judge chapters they never had the courage to live themselves.

And that’s okay.

One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that people will always have opinions about growth they don’t understand.

When you change.
When you heal.
when you stop participating in old patterns it can make others uncomfortable.

Not because you’re wrong. But because your growth highlights where they’re still stuck.

Here’s the spiritual twist:

If people are talking about you, it means you’re moving.

Trees that bear no fruit don’t get shaken.
Paths that lead nowhere don’t get questioned.
Lives that stay small don’t get discussed.

But

When you start walking in purpose
When you choose integrity over ego
When you let God shape your character instead of public opinion

You will be misunderstood.

Let them talk.

Your job isn’t to control the narrative.
Your job is to stay aligned.

Stay kind when it would be easier to clap back.
Stay humble when you could defend yourself.
Stay grounded in truth when gossip tries to pull you into drama.

Because spiritually speaking, what’s meant for you doesn’t require defending it requires embodying.

The right people will feel your authenticity.
The wrong people will project their fears.

And at the end of the day, peace is more powerful than popularity.

Keep walking.
Keep serving.
Keep healing.

Let them talk. â™„ïžđŸ“â™„ïž
