Yesterday, swimmers had a fantastic day at the Warwickshire County Pathway! Well done to Grace R, Eva J, Eliza P, Evan L, Jacob M and Cian N! This was the final session of the programme, which included a mix of swimming, land based and theory sessions. The County Pathway is for 12/13 year olds, and the first level of the Swim England talent pathway. It is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of our swimmers being selected to represent us! We hope everyone had a great day! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ Many thanks to for running the programme! πŸ’™

With the summer holidays quickly approaching, it is very important that children are aware of the dangers in and near to water. πŸ’¦

Please share the water safety code with children and others to ensure everyone is safe in & around water. πŸ›ŸπŸŒŠπŸš©

β€’ Stop and think
β€’ Stay together in water
β€’ Call 999 (and look for a lifeguard)
β€’ Float on your back in a star float - stay calm!

The Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK’s Drowning Prevention Week is this month, and swimmers in our lessons programme will be continuing their learning of vital lifesaving skills to keep themselves and others safe in and around water.

Please follow the RLSS’s page and use www.rlss.org.uk for more information.

Yesterday was a very fun and exciting day for Team Blythe! We had our youngest swimmers proudly representing Blythe Barracudas at the A Final! 🌟

Our swimmers had a fantastic time, dressing up with a tropical theme and putting on an outstanding performance! We are delighted to have taken home bronze medals yesterday, and to finish runners-up in the league table! πŸ₯‰πŸ₯³ The points were incredibly close in the end and it made for a very exciting gala! Well done to for their win yesterday! πŸ™Œ

The swimming yesterday was amazing to watch! From the 100 IMs at the start to the final cannon races, every swimmer gave their all and there was fantastic teamwork in relays too! We expect to have picked up quite a few speeding tickets as well for swimmers being too fast! πŸ’₯
We are so proud of every single swimmer, yesterday and across the rounds too! You are all amazing - massive congratulations! πŸ€©πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

The team was led by captains Molly Waugh and Arthur Freeth, supported by vice-captains Hollie-Mae Morris and Lewis-Oliver Nykamp. πŸ™Œ

These photos (& more to follow) highlight the true team spirit and enjoyment of yesterday! It was another very enjoyable final and we loved being part of it! 🩡🐠🌺

A massive thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers and coaches for making yesterday and the rounds possible! We are so lucky to have such a supportive community around us! 🌟

Huge congratulations to all and we are already looking forward to the 2027 league!

Go Blythe! πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ’™β€οΈ
