✨ accredited, DBS Certified & OFSTED registered Established in 2003 by Katie Cooper, StarStruck Performing Arts Academy gives young people a platform to perform in a fun and friendly environment. Principal Katie first stepped on stage at just 3 years old and from that moment knew that’s what she wanted to do! Her career has included TV, stage and radio performances in addition to multiple teaching qualifications and lecturing for the IDTA. With a team of qualified, DBS certified and first aid trained instructors, all students have the opportunity to shine on stage in Annual shows, take IDTA, NATD and LCM Examinations and by selection, perform at the West End and national venues in competitions, shows and festivals.

A super set of results from our first competition of the season! 🍁 We may have only taken a few SPA dancers to Aspire Dance Events on Sunday but each and every one of them did us proud!

Last night was one of those evenings that stays with you. ❤️🎭

Watching my former Star-Struck pupils Jack, Sammy & Lyla perform in “Ballads of Broadway” was such a proud and emotional moment. The show, organised by the wonderful Helena, who also performed, was hosted by another former pupil, Josh, and to see them all doing what they love brought back so many memories. 🥹✨

What made it even more special was seeing Evie & Maisie, also former Star-Struckers, there supporting, along with Mil, who is not only a former pupil but now one of our teachers with Helena and Lyla. ❤️

To think that these amazing young people once stood in my stage school, learning, growing and performing… and now they’re out there inspiring others and creating their own journeys, is just incredibly special.

I was SO emotional watching them, and yes, there were definitely tears! 😭❤️

I feel incredibly lucky and proud to have been part of their journeys. Once a Star-Strucker, always a Star-Strucker. 🌟🎭❤️

“Musical theatre has given me so many incredible opportunities — from travelling the world and making lifelong friends to building my confidence and coming out of my shell. I’m so grateful I took classes at Star-Struck, as they helped me become a much more confident and outgoing person.

I think it’s such a wonderful thing for children to get involved in musical theatre from a young age. It always gave me a safe space to express myself and try new things, regardless of whether I chose to pursue it professionally.

I feel incredibly lucky that I’m still able to chase my dreams as an adult and that journey recently led me to making my West End debut in the original cast of Sirens the Musical. It’s something younger me could only have dreamed of and I’m so grateful to have had such a fantastic background in training from Star-Struck.”
